Gibby's Cafe and Catering — Restaurant in North Cowichan

I went here while I was on a hike on the Cowichan Valley Trail and I took my aunt and uncle here to get some lunch, I had some chicken strips and fries and Gibby's Cafe hasn't lost it's touch for really good taste when it comes to making good food, especially when it's homemade. I used to eat at Gibby's when I used to go to Cowichan Secondary and when they were at VIU.

I'd definitely would recommend this place to anybody who wants good homemade food and the customer service...

My first time visiting Gibby's Cafe and WOW! Simply delicious! My 2 year old and I got the grilled cheese on sourdough with fries and the Veggie sandwich on multigrain to go. Both were perfect, exactly what you're wanting from a sandwich. The fries, classic homemade diner crisp yet soft and not greasy. Will definitely be back gotta try the breakfest menu asap! Great portions Fast, friendly service and Fair prices too!

Walked in for the first time, not even acknowledged, waited at the counter for 5 minutes, three people in the kitchen. Manager walks out right past us saying to the staff "this is a priority, we'll have to lock the door after these people" still not even acknowledging us.
