Riverview Local Eatery — Restaurant in North Huron

I phoned the Riverview hoping to purchase a gift certificate over the phone with my credit card. My intent was to pay in full for a $50 gift certificate and then leave it at the cash register for my friend to come in and get and use. But I was told that that wasn't possible that I could not pay for something over the phone by reciting my credit card number, the expiry date, and the CVC. I've never had that before. So delicious! This restaurant is small but so good with a creative menu. They were able to cater to my food allergy, wait staff was friendly and engaged, there was ample parking, bathrooms were clean and bright and the menu was large enough with variety for all tastes. The food was fresh and tasted made from scratch; the fries alone are worth the drive! I ate at the Riverview on the weekend for the first time. What a pleasant surprise! I am celiac so I had to ask lots of questions about what I could eat, but because the food is prepared from scratch by a chef, they're very knowledgeable.

The menu is amazing with lots of unique items. Everyone's food looked fabulous and tasted great.
