Fat Les' Chip Stand — Restaurant in North Stormont

Seen a perch rolls sign on the side of the road, so I pulled in and asked about them. I placed my order and gave a fair tip then they gave me a pager and I went to wait. 15-20 minutes later pager went off, I was salivating waiting for some yummy perch rolls. Turns out they just wanted to tell me they didn't have any. The cashier asked if I wanted my money back and I said yes so he got a manager. She came and gave me my money back minus my tip and minus the water I got with my combo that I already open. I was insulted, I figured I should at least get a free water for waiting so long. The manager was upset when I asked for my tip back. I told her I was looking forward to the rolls as I seen the sign. She said they ran out yesterday. I asked why the sign was up and how come the front staff didnt know. No response. Every time I have went to any fat less location it is a bad experience. Too bad because I hear good stuff...

After reading all the nice reviews of this place we decided to try it out. I have to say though, I am not impressed. At all. They put way too much ketchup and mustard in my hotdogs, i couldnt finish them, as well as way too much sauce in my poutine which made it inedible. We waited 20 min and spent 28$ on food for two people that was mostly thrown away.

I only realized back on the road, we were just finished with a long day of work and were eager to just get back home. Turning around to wait another 20 min was not an option.

I tried to give them a call, sent them a message to try to rectify the situation but no answer. Which leads to me leaving this review.

Its sad because it actually tasted good. Just way too much sauce. And no answer...

Used to order one sometimes twice a week but not anymore and NEVER again. Here's what turnt me off, placed a order and some entitled teenager wouldn't properly take my order, gets the entire order wrong, over charged me by $25 and when speaking to the so called manager his attitude matched the teenage punk taking orders. When I finally showed up to deal with the issue, I was given a gift card for the restaurant in the amount of $20 no apology for the over charging and no correction of the order. I've been in for service for years and this is the most blatant disregard for customer service I've ever seen ! Again I'll NEVER order from any...
