Gourmandises Oreka — Restaurant in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges

We were visiting Trois-Pistoles a week ago and came across this outstanding coffee shop/cafe. We had not given much thought to where to eat, and we are grateful that Oreka was open on a national holiday.

Our meal was fantastic! It was made with the highest quality ingredients and was delicious. The coffee was perfection. It was an added bonus that the place was spotlessly clean, including the restroom.

Most of all, we are grateful to the kind proprietress, who was very supportive when we got an upsetting phone call that our home 1,000 miles away might have been burglarized. Fortunately, as it turned out, that was not true, but we will never forget her compassion in those distressing moments until all was resolved.

Be sure to stop by this terrific establishment, and not just for its food and coffee, but also to meet the wonderful, caring woman...

A cute little gem that we found along the way. To put it in a nutshell, everything was perfect!

Let's start with the food: everything we ordered was prepared meticulously to perfection, from soup to dessert! And it tasted even better than it looked. The gaufres are exquisite, and the burgers are sublime. I highly recommend the turkey burger!! What a treat.

Then there was the hospitality. The staff is super nice and genuinely smiling the whole time. The owner Annie is an adorable person and she made sure that everyone in the cafe is well served. Even the music was just right.

Un gros WOW!! À toutes les personnes ayant la maladie coeliaque : soyez en sécurité chez Oreka !! Alléluia ! Un menu Sans Gluten à la fois sécuritaire (mentionnez le tout de même) et délicieux en plus d'être santé ohh que oui ça existe chez Annie à son merveilleux café resto Oreka Notre-dame-des-neiges. Je l'ai visité 2 fois, en allant vers la gaspesie et à mon retour. J'y ai mangé un délicieux bol déjeuner et bu un latté chaud au lait d'avoine sans café la première fois et une fritatta aussi magnifique que succulente avec un latté glacé au lait d'avoine la deuxième fois. Mon mari a mangé les gauffre tiramisu au noisette avec framboises. Un pur délice! Ça fait du bien de manger avec appétit et de se sentir en sécurité quand on a des intolérances et allergies. Merci à la propriétaire qui a pris le temps de me faire ses recommandations et qui m'a expliqué leurs procédures pour éviter les contaminations croisées. En plus, il y a un beau ptit coin bibliothèque et...la propriétaire est aussi auteure de romans noirs 🖤😍...
