What would bring me back to this spot is three things: the dessert, the sides, and the service.
Stopped in for lunch and had the platter for two. Honestly, felt like the barbecue itself was fine but nothing special. But the cornbread...swoons whoa mama it was good. The coleslaw blew me away (and I'm not normally a huge fan of coleslaw). And the pickles were divine.

The honey glazed doughnuts were too tempting to pass up — and I'm glad we didn't because it was maybe the best doughnut I've ever had in my life (and I've eaten a lot of doughnuts). I appreciate a place that gets the basics right and doesn't need any fancy bells and whistles to make something mouth-wateringly delicious.
Price point was great, the restaurant was bright and clean, and I have to give a shout-out for the service, which was friendly, attentive, and inviting.
5/5 worth making the trip...
