I wanted to wait to give Bigfoot burger a review until I had eaten there several times and seen the quality of various meals. After my experience today, I can say hands-down they have the best food and the best service in Cornwall. My family and I have sampled most of the menu at this point and have been delighted with every single choice to the point of family members literally drinking leftover gravy because it is so delicious. Today I happened to pick up fries and gravy to bring home to my family. As everything is cooked to order and not getting soggy sitting under heat lamps, both the fries and gravy are piping hot. Since I was travelling to get it home, they put the gravy in a bag and then put the fries on top of the gravy. The heat of both the fresh hot, delicious, french fries and the luscious homemade gravy managed to cause the lid of the gravy container to fail, resulting in a bit of a mess. I returned to Bigfoot burger to explain the situation and not only did the owner immediately upgrade and replace my order, but also Insisted on helping me clean out my car. We had a meaningful conversation while we tidied the car and got my fresh order, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this person is passionate about his food and his standards and his quality. Anyone who has complaints about the customer service aspect of Bigfoot burger - if you would not have a problem with this in a five star restaurant, there is absolutely no reason why you should have a problem with it from a food truck that is serving five star restaurant quality food. I have tried various restaurants in and around the Cornwall area and I feel that his fries are by far the best fries in the area. I feel that his gravy is by far one of the most delicious things that I have ever encountered, and I currently may or may not have a stash of it in my freezer. Let the food speak for itself and give it a chance because despite what you may have heard this is one of the best food experiences I have had in my 40 years, Cornwall or elsewhere. Sir, if you ever opened a brick and mortar restaurant, I would be in there multiple times a week absolutely, for sure, and very excited to see what other creations you would have on a...
Read moreFirst time trying BIGFOOT BURGER, located at Super 8 motel parking lot. I tried the BIGFOOT Cheeseburger with bacon (single patty, thank goodness, as the size of this burger just barely fits in the container)...AMAZING! The flavor coming from this burger is bar none! I was surprised because this is a SMASH burger (very thin but large). Was not dry and so much flavor. I thought I tasted, in my final bite, a hint of curry which I wasn't a fan of, however, this is by far in my opinion, the BEST smash burger I have ever tasted! Sweet Bread and Butter pickles are used which surprisingly adds a nice flavour. I also had a Poutin. I wasn't a huge fan of the BIGFOOT sauce used (I think it's an onion based homemade gravy) but it wasn't terrible. A healthy portion of St.Alberts curds to fries ratio. My only complaint, for lack of a better term, was it was lava hot 🔥. Let it cool and breath prior to digging in, or you may experiance some 'roof of mouth' discomfort. Overall, BIGFOOT BURGERS is a hidden jem in Cornwall, and when I say hidden, I mean it. Located off of Brookdale at the Super 8 parking lot (just south west of the 401). Prices are reasonable as well. 2 burgers, 2 medium poutines and 2 soft drinks were $44. We were unable to finish all our poutines because of the healthy portions. Worth...
Read moreThis summer we were driving back from Quebec and needed to stop at Seaway Chevrolet for emergency service work on our car after a collision with a deer.
The folks at Seaway Chev recommended Bigfoot Burger, which is across the street from the GM dealership, so we walked over and had lunch.
It was our first time having a smashburger so we followed the recommendations regarding what to order and how to have it dressed. All three of us loved our meals and I look forward to our next trip to Quebec so we can stop at Bigfoot Burger.
Not only was the food delicious and well prepared, but the whole experience was unique and very enjoyable. The owner has a very dry sense of humour and had us laughing the whole time.
Do yourself a favour and give Bigfoot Burger a try if you are on the 401 heading to or...
