Deb's Gas Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

Food was okay, but I won't be back.

I stepped over into what I guessed was the restaurant section, and found no instructions as to how seating worked. So I waited for an employee so that I could make eye contact with them so I could ask. The first two ignored me. The second one came back and curtly showed me where the non-smoking tables were. The menu is written quite vaguely, so I ordered a hamburger but then asked what a Banquet Burger was. I changed my order to that (plus no tomatoes) but... what came was a plain burger with a tomato. I asked them to remove the tomato (I did see "no tom" was written on the original slip) but I didn't notice there was no cheese or bacon on the burger ("banquet") until the last 1/3 of the burger, and I hadn't seen the waitress since her first check-in with me.

I was charged for the banquet burger, but after having it take 5 mins to bring me my bill, I didn't feel like waiting to contest the bill amount. I had to assume, too, that I had to pay at the gas station counter, where I was given no opportunity to include a tip with my debut amount, so.... I guess the bacon/cheese that I paid for and didn't receive will have to suffice. I am sorry about that, but... the...

went to Deb's gas to purchase gas today around 4:00 pm with my friend. He is a native and has a status card. Frank went in ahead to use the washroom and gave the cashier the native card to put into the system.. We were standing in line behind a few customers and noticed that the customer dealing with the cashier at the time got upset and said he would go get gas elsewhere. We had already pumped gas and were just waiting to pay. We got up to the cashier and Frank mentioned that she had his native card still. The cashier proceeded to type in information into a program then stated that his native card was not active. Im not sure you can become (not native) but she proceeded to tell us to pay full price. Frank was trying to explain that it is a point of purchase sale but the cashier would not hear of it. This is very very concerning as this gas station is on the native reserve. The cashier also tried to tell Frank that it was not his native status card but she never asked for any other identification to prove that he...

We have been there on and off for the last 14 yrs since we moved out near Debs but tonight was a Heartbreakers. Ordered two cheese burgers and a hamburger steak for steak that came with garden salad for take out. Ot was phoned ahead no problem but on arrival the cook says she wasn't sure she should fill our order she was 20 minutes from finishing her shift and the next cook was in yet. $50 later plus a $10 tip and the disappointment in what we got (Slop in The Box to be polite) it's a sure thing we won't go back or recommend to our friends. The two hamburgers were pink in the middle fried half booked and my salad which looked nice at first glance turned out to be scrap under neath. Huge wilted outside leaves and peices of the core not edible. With onions fried into tiny burnt strings unrecognizable as onions and fries half cooked. Never never again. Expensive dog food to...
