Food is great. Kudos to the chef. But the customer service is garbage. Very rude and unprofessional.
Ordered food for pickup on phone. They asked the name for the order. At the end of the order I asked for the persons name who took the order. The question I got asked back was “Why?” In a rude manner.
I thought maybe they didn’t hear me clearly and asked again what’s your name. To which they replied “why you want my name? “
😳😳😳 I would like to know who I’m giving the order to. As sometimes you order and go to pickup and they say they don’t have any order. So getting the name of the person who you ordered with saves trouble. Plus it’s common courtesy to tell your name when you ask someone else’s name.
I had to explain this, in order to get the person’s name. The name is Kushi.
When I arrived at the restaurant for the pickup and walked in, the place was empty. No diners no waiters visible. As I walked past the podium or a stand they have at the door. This girl walked out and I let her know that I’m here to pickup the food ordered.
She pointed the finger and said you should stand there by the door and not come in. 😳😳😳 wow what a customer service.
I told her I was going to use the washroom and collect the food. That’s why I was walking in. The body language, the gestures and talking tones matters. Especially in a food service business.
I have been to India Paradise in Windsor several times over the years and enjoyed the food. This is the first time visiting London location and the attitude took me by surprise.
As per the food; it was great just like the Windsor location. The washroom for men is out of order. In a restaurant this is an important factor and needs to be addressed quickly. Hope you rectify the issues at...
Read moreOur visit to India Paradise on Southdale Road was a brilliant culinary journey, awash with the vibrant flavors of authentic Indian cuisine. We were immediately welcomed by the spicy, tangy Pani Puris, served innovatively with 'pani' in shot glasses. This was closely followed by the delightful Papdi Chaat and the invigorating Fresh Lime Soda, the latter surprising us with a twist of black salt that harkened back to fond memories of summer days in Mumbai. There is something magical about the way a dash of black salt enhances the taste of fruit-based dishes and drinks.
We then moved on to the sizzling Murgh Malai, a dish that can only be truly appreciated through personal experience - mere words fail to capture its sublime taste. The newly introduced Chicken 65 Biriyani proved to be a unique and tasty diversion, although we found ourselves preferring their more traditional biriyani offerings.
Capping off our lunch were the heavenly Pista and Rabidi Kulfis - truly a slice of dessert paradise. Kudos to Chef Mandeep and his skilled team for creating this exceptional dining experience. Our hostess, Sukhveer, who had kindly traveled from the Windsor location, deserves special mention for her friendly service and attention to all patrons' needs. My sincere apologies if I got any names misspelled here!
Lastly, it's worth noting the spotless cleanliness of not just the dining area, but also the washrooms - a testament to the team's commitment to providing a top-tier dining environment. The music playlist also added a lovely desi touch to the overall ambience.
In summary, India Paradise is a must-visit for anyone seeking delectable Indian food and a splendid atmosphere in London. A definite high...
Read moreHonestly it feels sad to see such a poor management at any Indian restaurant. But as a hospitality industry person mark my words, these people will soon be going out of business if they continue to do the following things. We went on Thursday, saw they had buy one get one free offer on Biryani. We ordered that and were told you can not sit here and eat it. 😐 It's only to go. That's so miserable because the dinning room was completely empty. So instead of showing true hospitality and being "accommodating" to customer's needs, we were simply told to be get going. Just to sit down, since we travel from far, we thought to order something else too. I thought maybe now they would allow us to just have our Biryani but now. The waitresses seems stead fast on policy rather than people. Our Chilli Panner came on table. It was not worth the price. Panner was fresh and soft. But the dish over all lacked the "Indo Chinese food taste". It was just fresh paneer tossed in hot sauce. Very disappointing. And lastly, the Biryani which we ate at home after travelling back almost 45 mins, was a complete disaster. Lack of taste, lack of masala. Just some badly seasoned panner cubes thrown on top of Biryani rice. Really bad. Very coming back. Please refer the video. I which they know how to make really Biryani, like Charminar. Avoid this location...
