This review is not about the ice cream as it is always a 5 star product, it is about the staff and the lack of knowledge and the lack of empathy directed at customers... I called Friday morning and asked if you sold gift cards and was told absolutely, just come on out and we can help you with that! After work I drove from east London to your location, stood patiently in a line behind 9 people only to be told that they are only issued when a manager is present and the manager leaves at 4:30pm. It would have been good information to be given when I called earlier! Called the next day to be told that managers only work weekdays until 4:30, the girl I spoke to was the same girl I spoke to Friday night, she could have cared less about the situation and made that very well known by the way she spoke to me.... so there was absolutely no way I could purchase them until Monday morning. These gift cards were for Fathers day gifts so that was very unhelpful. This needs to change as the timing people can obtain gifts cards as most people work the same business hours as the manager there does. To make a long story short, I guess make sure you ask ALL the questions... make sure you speak to knowledgeable staff ( or at least ones that care about customers) . Growing up in a summer ice cream town on the coast, I'm a good judge. The choice of flavours are amazing & to everyone's liking, 5 stars. I've tried a few now & feel that firstly some of the flavours are not very premium & actually tasteless at times, despite their name & colour. Add to this my opinion is that they're too big a portion per cone, nobody really wants that size a cone to begin with, truth be told. With many other reviews mentioning their cost, irrespective of standard prices, it's due to the cone being so forcefully over stuffed. A better approach would be to offer a nicely sized single cone at a lower cost, problem solved. As with other reviews, I also agree with the comments relating to the junior staff, some help is needed there as in not enough ice cream from the large tub to fill my order should have suggested maybe a slight cash reduction or a choice change, probably even sell ice cream by weight. Finally due to the recently extreme weather these days, a small inside table & chairs would definitely be a good idea as I see many customers fighting with their melting cones outside. Final note, does absolutely no-one make a plain single flavoured coffee ice...

First, let's start with the actual venue: there is no seating inside, just some picnic tables outside. Don't let the exterior fool you, this is a tiny joint.

Second, let's talk about ice cream: their portions are big and generous. The ice cream was good, not spectacular. Limited flavour selection makes this place hard to recommend.

Finally, the service: if I could describe it in two words, it would be unhelpful indifference. The two ladies behind the counter were indifferent at best, impatient at times, and rather lacked any qualities that make you want to come back - friendly service, this was not. We ordered one icecream, three scopes of different flavours and as we were about to select another cup, one of the ladies impatiently said for the third time: "Will that be all or do you want another one" with a tone of "are you done yet?"

Will not come here again until they know how to treat customers properly. Terrible customer service for...
