Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Ontario

Last visit was to the location in Orillia and it was unpleasant. My Brother in law and myself called to ask if we could order pickup to be to they dont allow call ahead pickup orders . So we drove there only to find out walk in was locked and it was only taken out through drive through. There was a take out service inside picking up an order I guess and we tried the door only to be greeted by the driver walking up to the door and giving us the finger and laughing. And notice the staff was also laughing. We contacted the hq and they where very upset about the situation and gave us a free dinner. But the fact if staff and food delivery service treats you this way do you really trust that location anymore? Will our food be safe of revenge? After years of trusting this location we will be taking our business elsewhere. Since the fact he can only fix the issue with comping a meal. They need good managers who will not allow horseplay at thier location instead of hire staff who enjoy giving the finger to customers trying the door. They also claimed the reason thendoor was locked was understaffingbthat night yet there was atleast 3 staff working but they where just sitting around with the driver of a food take...

Very hit and miss, but more miss than hit.

I've been coming through this location for some time now and can honestly say it's one of the less-welcoming locations as of late. There have been quite a few instances where drive-thru employees have given unwarranted attitude and sport a less-than-welcoming demeanour right from the first interaction.

Secondly, they used to be open until 10pm during the week, which was great! However, they have cut back their hours recently without any warning or notification to customers and changed their sign to "open 10:30am". This, combined with the employees leaving all lights and "drive thru open" signs on well past 10pm, creates quite a bit of confusion most nights with customers rolling up and waiting, just to be ignored.

All that being said, the food is prepared as expected and other than presentation (sandwhiches can be a bit sloppy some days), I have never been disappointed. I mean, it's Mary Brown's! ('nuff said)

Overall, the location is a decent place to get a bite, but they definitely need to work on pleasant service and posting...

Absolutely awful. I have been a huge fan of Mary Browns up until now. Website and sign on door said open until 10 am for dine-in. Walked in at 850 pm and told dine in was closed and only drive thru was open. Huge language barrier as they only spoke Punjabi with some very bad broken English. Ordered the Buffalo Mary and they must have poured a gallon of hot sauce on it - most messy sandwich ever. My spouse had the same issue with his Buffalo Mary. My kids had a ton of lettuce put on their original Mary's to the point that their bun fell off. As we sat in our vehicle we were further entertained by one of the employees picking his nose in plain view for over 5 minutes. Yes I have pictures to prove it. Then to top it off - this filthy individual walked over to the cash register and started counting cash bills with his unwashed hands. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is. Time the health inspector...
