EDIT - ✍️ I do understand why they have a 4.2 stars and should be less after my last visit because there’s no consistency and the staff don’t care to follow up. I went back for lunch with my MOM, very disappointing. The lamb was overcooked, the harissa sauce was watered down, the meat portions were a joke and i specifically asked for med rare but we got well done. Waiter didn’t even bother to ask us any questions. This was at lunch time, maybe the staff then just don’t care? What’s up with the chef? I don’t ever come Back to edit my reviews, but this is one of those places that I wanted to take my mom to and when I did, it was terrible! Not worth it at all, overpriced at that point. If you’re going to drop in, at least after 5 pm when you get live jazz music so maybe if you’re lucky the food and staff don’t suck and you get music at bare minimum. What a shame. Night and day reviews - literally

Honestly shocked it’s 4.2 stars, this is a place I wouldn’t be worried to take MY MOM to! That says a lot, especially my mom. She’s an amazing cook and should have opened a Lebanese restaurant years ago but 6 kids would squash that dream goodbye. I have to test restaurants before I take her out or else I’m going to hear about what they should have done. So if I can say this is MOM APPROVED, let me tell you why! I went on a Saturday evening, first time - just a walk in. Got a seat, saw it was fairly busy. Jazz music playing, we were greeted by the host and everyone was very friendly. We got the Mazaar platter but the one made for 4 people, but by request can be made actually for 2 people so you can sample more! Came with kafta, beef kabobs, lamb chops and chicken. Apps came out first, salad, rice, kibbi and these cheese dumplings/pastries with hummus included. Fresh pita! The garlic sauce is genuinely delicious, it’s garlic sauce, should taste like garlic! I haven’t gone to a real Lebanese restaurant in a long time and finally found a place that knows what they’re doing. I’m a bit sad I didn’t try the tabouli because that’s the real test !! But the spicy tomato sauce that comes with the meat, with the garlic sauce on the rice makes for a good bowl. Everything compliments each other well, could make yourself a bowl or arab taco lol honestly well done, I would come back. I was just visiting from london/Toronto area with a client, thanks for making a good impression. But anyways - 36.99 a person is actually great value for the quality and quantity you receive. We still have leftovers! Tasted amazing, beautiful atmosphere. I’m glad they had the music up, only thing was how close you sat next to another table - I could hear everyone’s entire conversations. Found out some juicy gossip, my guy left his wife and the other guy to my left is flying out in a week on vacation, all the best to everyone LOL
I walked out paying $130, that included 2 drinks, Turkish coffee and baklava ($9) a bit pricey, it was dry not much syrup but 4 pieces. My client did spend 2 weeks in Cyprus eating fresh baklava so he’s a bit spoiled but you can tell they’ve been refrigerated...
Read moreWell, our dining experience did not even occur! I called the restaurant directly to make a reservation in one of their outdoor igloos. I specifically asked if they were heated. I was told that they were. I also asked if we needed to wear coats in the igloo and was told no that they were warm enough without. The day before, they called to confirm our reservation. I checked to make sure we were reserved for an igloo and was told yes. When we got there, we saw two igloos and a tent. We were taken to a table inside a dark tent with no heat. I told the hostess that we were booked for an igloo. She then took us to one of the igloos which was lit up nicely and had 3 patio heaters going. It was pretty toasty in there. Unfortunately, there was another party gathering in that igloo. We were confused. We were then escorted to the other igloo which had 2 patio heaters but were not turned on. Also, the flaps of the igloo were billowing in the wind. It was freezing in there! No way were we going to sit in the cold to have dinner so we requested a table inside the restaurant. The host went in to check for availability and after about 5 minutes came back and told us there was nothing available for an hour and a half. No real attempt to accommodate us and no apology! We felt like second class customers as we were given the "rundown" igloo. We left and fortunately we were able to get a table at L.A. Town Grill in LaSalle where we had a great meal. So word of warning, do not book the igloo or the tent unless you want to eat...
Read moreTasty Lebanese Cuisine ! Would recommend a visit!
The hummus and Fattoush were portioned well and seasoned to perfection. The wine and drink list were well thought out. Lots of food options. Only one main vegetarian dish. Lamb Shank was very tasteful however extremely small portion. The entire shank was bone and had about 3 bites of meat. Otherwise tasteful! Biryani side rice was beautifully seasoned and delicious. The complimentary bread looks homemade and tastes great. Warm circle loaves made to perfection.
Vegetarian Dish had to be brought back three times unfortunately because it was completely cold. Otherwise it was extremely tasteful once the temperature was right! Would still recommend buying this dish. All other dishes were at a perfect temperature.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We made reservations and were seated right away. Apologetic when food was not correct and rectified it immediately with a smile.
Dessert was incredible. Very flavourful and unique. Would highly recommend even visiting the restaurant just for dessert and drinks!
COVID ACCOMMODATIONS: The restaurant has clear barriers in between each table to ensure protection. Staff worse masks properly the entire duration of our visit. Visitors are required to wear a mask upon moving around the restaurant.
