There were 5 in our party & there were only 2 other tables with people when we arrived shortly after 11am. They took our drink order and got half of them wrong. We had to ask for menus and when they brought them, they said they only had 4 (side note, they really should wipe the menus down!) They took our order (breakfast items) and 30 minutes later I got up and asked how much longer they thought it would be. I’m convinced they forgot to place our food order. It finally came out 10-15 minutes later, but in sections. We got our toast first, then our French toast and then our eggs and meat. My mom’s eggs were cold, my over easy eggs were not “easy” and two out of the 5 orders of toast were not buttered at all. At no time while we were there did our server come over to see how things were going or if we needed a refill on our drinks. If they were short staffed or they knew it was going to take longer for our food, they should have mentioned that to us. The prices for milk are ridiculous- $4 for a small cup!! The creamers and milk for the coffee were not refrigerated, even though it says on the container they should be. The butter was not either, but the syrup for the French toast was - go figure lol It’s a shame because it used to be a great place, but we will never be back! Definitely not worth the money, and if I could give zero stars for...
Read moreWe were dropping my brother off at a hotel near the airport and we decided to stop because of all the 4 star reviews. This was about 5 pm Tuesday afternoon on August 18th. I was with my brother, husband and daughter. We were looking for a sports bar so we could catch some of the Montreal playoffs. We had come from Chatham area after burying our Mother. Two of us ordered the chicken parm and the other 2 ordered the chicken fettuccine. There was an older blonde lady who thankfully didn't have much contact with our table, as she was snarky and rude to an elderly couple at the table next to us. She even said in earshot of our table, that she could be at home for $2000.00 a month. We were taken care of by an Asian lady who was a complete delight and made us feel welcome like we were regulars. The food exceeded our expectations, it was apparent that the sauce was homemade for the chicken parm. I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken was not breaded, but it was well seasoned. That was the first time I had chicken parm that way, but I enjoyed it more than any other time I had had it. My daughter and brother had the chicken fettuccine alfredo and they thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Like I said the food exceeded our expectations. It was definitely fresh and we had excellent service. I would definitely go...
Read moreWent for the fist time today. Loved It! Coffee was good and so was breakfast. Thanks for becoming my new breakfast place. (My review from 5 years ago).
Edit (April 10th/2024 @1045am ish) My first visit in a long time. Sure it's the middle of the week but it was nearly empty. 4 adults and one toddler $75 for breakfast. Not a horrible price but kinda high based on the quality of food. The apple juice was clearly watered down. Coffee came quickly, was gone before our meal was served and sat empty past what should have been a check in on the food. At that point it became apparent that the server didn't like that she had to brew another pot because only 3 cups got coffee. Both eggs Benedict breakfasts were ordered with medium poached eggs and came out hard and one spurt water all over the plate when cut into it. The hollandaise sauce was also watered down and had no flavour at all. First time I have ever needed ketchup for eggs Benny in my life. Honestly it was not sent back because a better cooked egg was not going to fix the hollandaise. The pancake for the toddler was clearly made ahead of time as it came out hard as if it was toasted. When bent it broke with a crunch and was difficult to cut with a knife. The only reason we went out was to celebrate a birthday (venue of...
