Very very terrible experience in the drive thru tonight. I dealt with an older woman who was extremely rude and agressive. She was (what I assume) a crew leader, as she made a point to tell me how she "probably made more money than I did". She was arguing with me over filling an iced cap hanging out the window, shaking it around at us. My husband thought she was going to throw the iced cap at him that's how riled up she was. At one point when I had asked her why she was still going on her response was "because im right". The young workers behind her look bewildered. She took her time returing my $20 dollar bill. While the young ladies behind her were point at the button going "its right there, it's right there". I'm assuming this was so she could continue to insult and instigate us some more.
When I called back to ask her name she refused to give it to me and just kept repeating something childishly into the phone then left it off the hook.
This was all so very inappropriately and unprofessionally handled and I am disgusted by this interaction! Even IF you think you're right you dont argue with a customer aggressiely, and you certainly dont swear at them. However, I can see from previous Google reviews that the ignorance from the prescott team is not a new or one-off thing. Perhaps some sensitivity training for the whole store would...
Read moreFinal update Jan 21st: Credit Cards formal dispute returned in my favor, returning the amount I was charged for products not received, a month+ after placing the order. I will not return to this location. The Tims @ Ultramar is better anyway!
EDIT TO ADD 20 DAYS LATER: After dealing with customer support through the app (email ticket, not even a live chat function) I was informed (on Dec 14th, 5 days after the incident) that they cannot support or refund me, and my query was sent to the store owner/manager, but they couldn't tell me how long until they will contact me. It has since been 15 (FIFTEEN!) days, and I have yet to hear anything, and I have opened a formal dispute with my credit card. My next step as well will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, because as it seems Tim Hortons just doesn't care.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Place an order through the app, and get told at the window they can't make the ordered drink, what do we want as a replacement. Didn't want any replacement, just our money back for the item, Nope, can't do that! Then screw it cancel my whole order I don't want any of it. NOPE CANT DO THAT. Leave it to this place to steal your money for goods not provided. Can't even talk to someone in the app about the issue! Worst...
Read moreI recently visited Tim Horton's on my way back to Toronto from Ottawa and I was very pleased with my experience. I stopped in to grab a quick coffee and a chocolate chip muffin to fuel me for the rest of the drive and I was not disappointed. The coffee was hot and fresh and the muffin was delicious - it was the perfect combination of sweet and satisfying.
One thing that really stood out to me was the convenience of the location. It was right off the highway and very easy to access, which was great for someone like me who was just passing through. It was also very busy, which is always a good sign when it comes to fast food chains. The staff were efficient and friendly, and they were able to get me my order quickly despite the high volume of customers.
In addition to the tasty food and efficient service, I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the location. The washrooms were spotless, which is always appreciated.
