China Wok — Restaurant in Oshawa

My family has been ordering here for 11 years now. The last time we ordered about a year ago it was still great. I don't know what has happened since then, but it has gone down hill. The lady who took the order over the phone was rude and confrontational when I called after receiving my order. I had called to advise that the hunan chicken looked the exact same as the Cantonese Chow Mein and they had used the same sauce. The lady stated "I was wrong and the sauce is not the same and refused to listen to me. The pepper beef had 3 pieces of beef in it and the rest was all green peppers, it also had the SAME SAUCE as the HUNAN CHICKEN and CANTONESE Chow Mein. The chicken was under cooked in both of those dishes. The lemon chicken which I used to enjoy tasted like it was freezer burned as it was tough and RUBBERY in texture. So much for enjoying a good Mother's Day dinner. To add to the misery, after waiting an hour I called to inquire about our food. The lady advised they were busy and it would be another 20 minutes. Who ever is running the show there... The Customer is always right, you do not have confrontational staff disregarding a concern or complaint. If you are busy when someone calls in to order, common curtesy would be to ADVISE your customers of this. You have lost a long...

Never again!!!!! Our food took almost two hours to get to us. When it did get to us our order was wrong, part of it was missing. What we did get was inedible. One of the dishes was burned. The rest had been sitting out for so long that they were cold and inedible. Even the soup was stone cold.

When I called to tell them that a dish was missing the girl on the other end of the phone just kept telling me the price of the dish. Then she told me our food was on its way. I tried multiple times to tell her we already had our food and I was calling to complain.

In the end I finally gave up. I was simply told that my food should be to me soon over and over again.

Like I said - never will I order...

Used to love this place... not anymore. Ordered online they billed us, never confirmed order and wanted us to pay again. Then after we find out that they did not even start making our food, we asked for a refund and they did not want to give it to us. They gave us the phone number to call and get a refund which went to a dead line even when they attempted to call. Then they said they are having issues with online ordering and they know it is an issue and to call in the order.

Finally got our order and noticed while they were making our food a wok spoon dropped on the ground. Not sure if they even washed it, appeared to use it like nothing happened. Will never be...
