The chef(s) definitely know what they are doing at the Rolling Barrell.. The food was excellent and very well presented. I had the seafood linguine, the quality of the gluten free pasta and seafood was very good and the lobster tail was prepared in a very professional way so one could easily eat the meat. Service was excellent and pricing very very good. However, this is a sports bar and the advertising on the restaurant front doesnāt emphasize this description. Disconcerting to have to listen to loud Q107 style music and be visually overstimulated by large TV screens and morbid sights of the bloodied face of a boxer. Doesnāt quite allow for a nice relaxing Sunday brunch. If the owners could consider on weekend mornings and noon hour lunchtime, lowering the sound, making a more relaxing playlist, find a sports channel showing a more civilized sport we probably would return Perhaps the restaurant would attract a much wider diverse clientele. Nothing wrong with ramping things up later in the day and early evening during the āHappy Hourā but definitely wonāt be bringing my senior parents here for breakfast...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTried out this new restaurant for a date night, sadly we will not be returning. The vibes are definitely a better fit for a sporting event or a drink where you are not fussed on what you eat for dinner.
The servers were nice but very rushed. We were asked if we wanted the bill twice while still eating. Once we did pay, the pile of dirty dishes was never removed from the table. Not a super nice environment to sit in once finished eating, so we ended up leaving quite quickly.
Food was ok, it came very quickly! I did ask about the cheese on a burger prior to ordering. Asked if it was American cheese, like a Kraft single or real cheese. I was told it was not American cheese, it was real cheddar, so I decided to add it on for the 3 dollars. Got my burger and it was absolutely rubber, Kraft single cheese. Not a big deal, but a little disappointing seeing as I asked a few times for clarification and was assured each time. The buns were a bit off as well, crunchy in some areas...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Rolling Barrel is definitely worth checking out. My wife and I recently visited, and surprisingly it was for breakfast and not alcohol, lol. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with a cool, casual vibe. What really stood out to us was the generous portion size, especially when it comes to the fresh fruit. Unlike other breakfast spots that offer just a few slices, The Rolling Barrel serves a hearty portion, making it a great value for your money.
The prices here are also quite reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Itās also worth noting that the service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
While we went for breakfast, weāre already planning to return to try their drinks and other menu...
