The one star rating isn't because of their pizza. Their pizza is very good. The poor rating is because of their rudeness and lack of basic customer service. I've been a loyal customer for years getting food weekly from them. You'd think they'd know how to treat a long time customer.
A couple of weeks ago my order was messed up. The guy promised me that next time they'll give me an order of small fries free OR large fries for the price of a small. Great! Well, I call to place my food order and tell the owner what I was promised. Expecting they'd honor what they previously promised me, the owner instead lectures me on how they already apologized for the error the last time, that the apology was good enough, and that he's not 'supposed' to give me anything free but he'd do it anyhow. Geeeez thanks! Thanks for making me feel like I was begging for what YOU promised. I immediately cancelled my order. How about don't promise what you won't deliver? How about honoring what was promised? How's about looking up what customer service means so you can learn the meaning of it?
It's the principal of the thing! You've lost a customer. Do you care? Nope, I know you don't. If you cared you wouldn't have let me cancel my order and quickly hung up on me when I did without even asking why I was canceling. I guess your french fries are that important to ya. But I take satisfaction in posting this review AND knowing you'll never get another penny from me ever again. I hope the $1.25 worth of french fries it would've cost you to honor what you promised was worth it. Can't wait to read your reply because I know it'll be bullcrap and full of falsehoods putting the blame on me. I'm all ears.... Thanks for your half-ass reply and heartfelt apology. If 'usually' there's supposed to be a note on file describing what your staff promised then that just proves your staff are incompetent and don't give a crap. There was no misunderstanding on my part. What was promised should've been honored. Instead, I get lectured on the phone by you, the owner, who is oh so very friendly lol. Get some customer service training and don't screw your customers. Without your customers you're nothing. Wipe my number out of your system. I will never give you a red cent. Even if you offered free pizza for a year I'd rather give my money to a business who values their customers. Like I said, sure hope that $1.25 worth of potatoes was worth it for you. Update: Since posting this review the owner called me and left a message offering a free pizza. Same owner who lectured me on the phone and made me feel like I was begging for what they had promised. Nope....not even free food will get me back. Funny how now you're interested in being nice and making things right but before this review you didn't give a crap. Like I said, wipe my number out of your system. Never setting foot again...
Read moreHey Travelers and Locals, we traveled from Vancouver BC and I googled Benecci as a good pizza to eat...well what can I say..in 6 days period we ate Beneci Special and Wings 2 days in the row and we are not big on PIzza!!! I would say one of the BEST pizzas we had in general. 15 -20 min and you are in Pizza heaven. The service is great and you can see your food being made on the front of your eyes. They did not even charge us for the absolutely delicious garlic sauce. I mean the sauce is so good I could eat it with spoon. IF you are in their delivery zone get it!! or even 15 min drive is totally worth it!!! Next time we are in Ottawa we are back for more!...
Read moreOn July 28th, my family ordered a pizza with two vegetarian toppings, marking our first time trying your establishment. Regrettably, the experience fell short. The pizza was so overloaded with cheese that the flavors of the toppings were completely lost. We even had to add Parmesan and chili flakes at home to enhance the taste.
Furthermore, we encountered an issue with the pricing. Despite using a $4 coupon for a large pizza, our bill was $25.45 plus taxes, which was $2.05 more than the menu price of $23.40 plus taxes, even after the discount. While I chose not to dispute it then, being overcharged for a basic pizza, even with a coupon, is not fair...
