We golfed at Sunstone on a scorching hot day where we essentially melted under the sun and got eaten alive by mosquitos. Make sure to bring your bug spray when you tee up on the first hole- you’ll need to apply and reapply every 2 holes! The staff were nice enough to bring us mosquito repellent when we called them while on the third tee box. Overall, the staff were quite friendly at this homey course. The course is a bit confusing to find as it is located next to Big Sky golf course and there isn’t much signage indicating where the course is. It may be helpful to punch in “The Meadows at Pemberton” if you are using a GPS to get there- I think this was its former name. The track itself is essentially target golf with the utmost precision required. Not much forgiveness in the bushes or trees if a tee shot leaks a little off the fairway. The greens were in great condition, but many were elevated so he sure to take some extra club on your approaches. Overall, you get good value for your money at Sunstone with its affordable rates and would recommend this course on a...
Read moreAbsolutely perfect place to admire the beauty of the landscape while playing golf- and for a much better value than anywhere in the area. What stood out most, however, was not the view or the golf, but the hospitality of the workers! They were all incredibly nice and felt like one big family, immediately welcoming you in. They helped us out by giving us towels due to the rain and even gave us a discount because it started to rain harder than we expected near the end of our round. We were very happy to have played there and met the nice people.
In terms of golf, while it may not be the most perfect conditions- the holes were still fun with exciting layouts, unique hazard features, well conditioned greens and spectacular views. The rates were very reasonable and the value for this place was amazing....
Read moreBooked 5 tee times about 2 months in advance. Views were gorgeous, but the course was absolutely in terrible shape. When I'm forced to sign a pretty strict contract, I would expect the golf course would give our 20 guys a heads up that the tee boxes were non existent and the greens were more brutal than any pitch and putts in vancouver. The staff were friendly, eespecially lee-an in the bar area. She makes one helluva caesar! Otherwise, give golfers, especially LARGE groups bringing $2500 to the course, a heads up that the course is in garbage condition, especially when we're driving from...
