Poco Burro Burrito is an absolute treasure in our City, and it's all thanks to the exceptional ownership of Minal and Sunny. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Let's talk about the food – it's out of this world. Each bite of their burritos is a flavor explosion that leaves you craving more. Whether you're indulging in their classic chicken spicy 65 a or savoring their vegetarian options, you can taste the quality and care put into every ingredient. And don't even get me started on their desserts or the chips and queso – they're the perfect balance of heat and flavor. But what truly sets Poco Burro Burrito apart is the genuine passion and dedication of Minal and Sunny. Not only are they culinary wizards, but they're also the heart and soul of this establishment. They treat every customer like a cherished guest, taking the time to ensure that each visit is nothing short of exceptional. Minal and Sunny's commitment to their craft shines through in every aspect of their business. They're not just owners – they're friends and pillars of support for everyone who walks through their doors. Their warmth and generosity create an atmosphere that keeps customers coming back time and time again. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel like an afterthought, Minal and Sunny remind us of the power of genuine hospitality. Their passion for food and people is infectious, and it's what makes Poco Burro Burrito a five-star destination in every sense of the word. If you're looking for delicious food served with a side of heartwarming hospitality, look no further than Poco Burro Burrito. Minal and Sunny are true gems, and their restaurant is a reflection of their incredible spirit. Treat yourself to a meal here – you won't be...

Being an absolute addict for Mexican food, I was happy to see a burrito restaurant right in the heart of downtown Peterborough. As I entered, I was taken aback by the size, layout, color scheme and cleanliness of the restaurant. It's hard to believe this business isn't even a year old. It looks like they're well established.

Then we get to the main part - the food! What made this place stand out for me was that they actually have wet burritos. For those that may be unaware, it's a burrito with enchilada sauce spread on the top. While very common in the US, especially in the Midwest and South, this is the first time I saw a restaurant selling wet burritos in Canada. So I knew immediately that I was going to get a wet chicken burrito, and I can say that I made a great choice. It was absolutely incredible and now sits as my most favorite burrito.

Seeing as these guys had so many options, many quite unique like chicken 65, lotus root, chickpeas, I had to give these a try. The owners, a lovely young couple, were so incredibly friendly and they even let us sample a couple bites of the chicken 65 and chick peas and I settled on the chick pea quesadilla which was incredible! The blend of spices mixed with traditional toppings just tasted incredible.

On my way out, I let them know that my mother is a strict vegetarian who can be quite picky with what she eats. They recommended I try the lotus root bowl for her. She was incredibly happy with it and even asked me to try, which I then proceeded to finish for her...lol.

All in all, an incredible place that I wish were in Toronto, and a place I will stop by anytime I find myself in...

Food is okay.... ordered chicken bowl which I paid extra for guac but was given very tiny bit of it.. serving is small .. not sure if its because I called out the one making my food for using the SAME GLOVES she was wearing while taking my money and the same gloves used preparing my food. They need to pay attention to making sure they are serving clean food. She tried justifying that she just finished serving someone that is why she didnt get the chance to change her gloves.. but thats inexcusable specially if you display your food handling certification.

My own opinion.. not worth the money and the risk of getting sick.. will not come back again.

UPDATE: another reason why I will personally not support this place.. closing is not an EXCUSE to be putting your patrons at risk of getting sick. One guy is still eating at the store and based on your hours outside. You were still open when I walked in.. I simply asked if you can still serve as the guy was already mopping the floor.

This place has so much excuses and lies as suppose to just acknowledging the feedback and making it better. Will definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

AND NO, SHE DID NOT CHANGE HER GLOVES THAT SHE WAS WEARING TAKING MY CASH AND GIVING MY CHANGE AND USED THE SAME GLOVES PREPARING MY FOOD, UNTIL I ASKED HER TO CHANGE IT AND GET NEW GLOVES (SHE EVEN SAID SORRY WHEN I CALLED HER OUT AND BEFORE I LEFT)DONT LIE.. YOU HAVE YOUR...

I ordered take out from Uber Eats for my partner and myself. We ordered 6 tacos, small nachos, and cheesecake. Ended up spending just under $50 all together. Walked in and they actually suggested that I order from their own website in the future when doing take out since they have more variety and lower prices on their website compared to Uber Eats which is good to know for future orders. The staff were very friendly and actually gave me extra salsa when they noticed I forgot to put salsa on the tacos in our order, which was very mindful of them. All of the food was very good, fresh and presentable and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!
