This is by far the BEST most AMAZING halal restaurant, not to mention the INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY owner in Peterborough! Me and my wife were visiting the town when we stopped at this shop - were greeted by the owner, who answered all our questions and suggested QUZI. It was so delicious and flavorful. The serving was generous too (enough for the two of us). Moreover, we were so impressed by the hospitality of the owner that we can't wait to visit his place again. Anyone, looking to enjoy delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine, then this place should be on top of your list!

Dinner at Tacheena Middle Eastern Food, Peterborough is a small family run restaurant. We had: Auran - a salty yoghurt drink Baba ghanoush (eggplant dip) with pita bread. So tasty and garlicky. Spicy Lamb Guss with Salad - spicy lamb grilled and cooked with red onion and tomato and served with tossed salad and an cucumber/tomato/onion/parsley salad - very tasty and a do over! Mix Lamb Kofta And Beef Kebab with Salad and rice - grilled lamb kofta and beef kebab served with tossed salad and yellow spiced rice - tender and juicy A very enjoyable meal!

Excellent Mid East food, very clean, food very very fresh. I went today with friends, hospitality was 10 out 10, we got mix chicken and authentic Iraqi Kabab, very juicy, server on top Rice with variety of salads, Hummus. Owner was very welcoming, we ended our meal with Baklava and tea. This place must be visited, City of Peterborough welcoming such place to have variety of authentic food.

Ordered to pick up for family dinner nightfor the first time at Tacheena and all of us loved everything - even our pickiest eater. Flavourful and reasonably priced - we ordered several different options to try and had a hard time choosing a favourite!
