A real experience my partner just had at this location:
âGood morning, could I please get a chicken BLT on a McMuffinâ âNo, we donât sell those anymore. We can do an egg BLT or chicken sandwichâ âOh okay, so would it be a possibility to substitute the egg with chicken on the BLT then?â âNo??â (Yes, they actually said it like this, way to make a customer feel stupid) âWow okay, I guess Iâll just get the egg BLT meal with a medium double doubleâ âOkay drive upâ (again, yes it was said like this)
Keep in mind, while all this is happening, they literally have the chicken BLT on their drive thru menu still.
He then drives up to the first window to pay and mentions that the egg BLT wasnât what he wanted, and that they should remove the chicken option from the menu. All the cashier could say was âyeah I know, sorryâ.
We didnât think the situation could get any worse, but it turned out they had absolutely no hash browns ready at 10am so we had to wait an extra couple of minutes for one of those, then come to find out the double double he had ordered was literally 2/3 full.
I wish I could say I was exaggerating, but this experience left my partner feeling embarrassed to the point where he didnât even want to eat the food anymore. I am just so angry that these employees donât understand simple customer service. If the kids working this morning even tried to be polite, I wouldnât be writing this right now, but they have to...
   Read moredecided to get 'drive through ' and the comedians who make fun of it were correct. But in real life it's not all that funny, I was not laughing one bit. My mistake was NOT ordering EXACTLY off the 'menu'.(P.S.NEVER MESS with the MENU / Drive-Through usually a crap shoot at best). So we were directed to a parking spot, waited patiently as good Canadians. TWICE they got the order wrong and forgot my drink. 3rd time the charm, we 'assumed' ( TURNS OUT another bad idea) .SOOO we get home, and guess what, YUP!!! WRONG AGAIN OR STILL...MY COLD SMOOTHY ( the cause of the issue, a peach passion fruit smoothy. weakness in the summer, despite previously getting wicked freeze headaches) Instead of OUR UBER COMPLICATED and COMPLEX ORDER: a Big Mac and double cheeseburger, we got 2 double cheeseburger boxes, mine was barely warm, more cheese in and on the box, and neither was a double cheeseburger. My drink was not even remotely cold and tasted oddly like coffee. RESULT: this comment, and an EXTREMELY HIGH probability of NEVER EVER having it repeated drive through or not, (ohh wait, my pancreas and insides just silently breathed a sigh of relief). For all the bravado about how well they treat their employees these people were not happy, and wanted to let all customers know that....
   Read moreI've had some poor experiences with drive-throughs before, it happens at fast food restraunts, but this location takes the cake. The other day I drove through and ordered a meal. I got parked, waited close to ten minutes for my food and drove away. I parked, realized I got someone else's order entirely and went back. Went inside, waited my turn and then waited for the correct meal. Left with it... Only to find out I got a McDouble instead of a double quarter pounder. I had about half an hour invested at this point so I just left.
Also I'm noticing that I'm hardly getting receipts anymore... No receipt, no way to report your poor experience to head office.
I just came through and asked for a large fries... They tried to charge me for a medium fries. I corrected them and they charged me for the correct item... Drove through, collected my food... Medium fries. I'm done, Tim's and Subway are...
