Koster's Bakery & Deli/ Dutch Imports — Restaurant in Picture Butte

I was so excited to try their baked goods and I was finally able to stop in and buy a piece of cake.

The kids loved their donuts ( maybe I should have gotten a donut lol)

I bit into my slice of cake, to only taste refrigerator

I would not recommend this bakery for an important order or for your business for the holidays. I chose this one because I was referred to it by a friend, but I was sorely disappointed. They completely messed up my order by giving me cakes rather than pastries as asked for in the order. Worst of all they severely over charged me, thankfully after some coaxing they gave me a slight refund, but the pieces of cake were still around $3 each (each piece is about 1”x1.5”x2.5”). I would have been fine with the price if they would have gotten the order right and given me...

Got lucky enough to stumble upon this gem of a bakery. First I gotta say, try the apple fritters. Zomg, best apple fritters in history.

This bakery has every baked good you might want from bread to cookies, pies and cakes. The have an awesome selection of donuts made fresh daily that would make Timmy's cry in shame.

My wife absolutely loved the section of the store devoted to Dutch imports, she scored a bag of dropjies, still soft.

I am not from Alberta, but any time I pass thru again I will drive an hour out of my way to get more of these...
