These guys are tucked away in an inconspicuous location so unless you know of them, you might just as easily drive right past their place.

The place: this is a small shop that shares a space with another business. It's a pick-up place and not somewhere you'll go to sit down.

The goods: They have a variety of products on offer, such as Italian cold cuts, home-made pizza, roasted vegetables etc. I tried a pizza, roasted vegetables and home-made prosciutto. The pizza was amazing - the crust was thick but fluffy, the tomato sauce was quite good as were the toppings. I added some of the roasted veggies on top before heating it up in the oven. Delicious. I would have liked a little bit more meat on the pizza but that is it. The roasted vegetables were perfect. While I did enjoy the prosciutto, my personal preference is for a more aged version because I find that to be drier and tastier. The only other comment I have about the offering is that they don't seem to have desserts on offer (when I stopped in, there was a cake but nothing else). I would have liked to see a few cannoli ;-)

Price point: A bit spendy but given the cost of food these days, there's not too much one can do about that. Besides, it doesn't hurt to treat yourself once in a while!

C’était ma deuxième visite chez La Cena à Piedmont, et encore une fois, j’ai été enchantée ! En tant que personne très allergique aux fruits de mer et crustacés, je suis soulagée de savoir qu’il n’y en a pas ici — c’est rare et tellement rassurant.

Les produits sont d’une fraîcheur remarquable, la nourriture est délicieuse, et la propriétaire est tout simplement charmante. Elle est attentive, chaleureuse, et prend vraiment soin de sa clientèle. Les employés sont tout aussi professionnels et aimables — ils m’ont conseillé avec soin et servi avec le sourire.

Dès qu’on entre, le temps semble suspendu. L’ambiance est conviviale, les gens prennent le temps de nous écouter, et on se sent vraiment bien accueillie. J’ai acheté des produits pour le lunch et le souper — tout était savoureux et parfaitement préparé.

Un endroit à découvrir… et à revisiter encore et encore ! This was my second visit to La Cena in Piedmont, and once again, I was absolutely delighted! As someone with a severe allergy to seafood and shellfish, I truly appreciate that they don’t serve any — it’s rare and incredibly reassuring.

The ingredients are fresh, the food is delicious, and the owner is simply wonderful — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring toward her customers. The staff are just as professional and kind — they offered thoughtful advice and served me with a smile.

From the moment you walk in, time seems to slow down. The atmosphere is friendly, people take the time to listen, and you feel truly welcomed. I picked up items for both lunch and dinner — everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared.

A place worth discovering… and revisiting...

I live far from this place, so every time I find myself in the area, I stop in for something. I don't even know what i'm going in for when I do, but I know I will regret not having stopped by to get something.......ANYTHING!!!! It's the only place that can make me weak in the knees trying to resist eating carbs. From their fresh meats to their prepared, ready to eat meals, this place is a gem. I almost forgot, if you are lucky enough to see freshly, in house made cake, consider yourself fortunate and...
