I only ordered a 6" gluten free sub around 1pm yesterday; because I have celiac disease, but I also have mild allergy to aspartame. I've had gluten free subs from subway and never have hlgotten this sick before. I saw him open it from the package, so there's no concern that he used the wrong bun, but some kind of cross contamination must have happened or too much food preservatives in the food. Within an hour of finishing the $8, 6" sub I was dizzy, confused, and seeing spots; onset to a migraine. I was shaking a bit and was having difficulty with balance. I legitimately felt like I was having an acid relapse or something. I had washed it down with just water, and haven't eaten anything but the sub, water, and bacon and eggs that morning. Today I am showing signs of having my intestinal wall break down and that I'm no longer digesting things (a celiac reaction probably). I threw up this morning and there was UNDIGESTED portions of JUST the bun. (Not something that usually happens with bread or even gluten free bread). I legitimately know they are putting something on the "fresh" foods because that place is DEAD with barely any customers and all the veggies are super green and crunchy but some of the peppers in the display have yellow spots (a pepper would go limp before that happens). Also someome I know who used to work at that location warned me about the chemicals they use to freshen the vegitables. Most people don't have as sensitive as a digestive tract as I do, but, if that was even just a regular bun and ACTUALLY fresh, untampered, vegetables, I would have only had a gluten reaction. Whatever that weird chemically migrane or whatever was was probably something in...
Read moreThis subway is very cheap. We all pay the full price for the order that is marketed to us through the pictures and adds. But this store always gives the half of it box for salads. The chicken they add is little to nothing in this half bowl. When asked the server about the issue, lady said that this is how subway ask them to do. Not the first time this happened. And this happens way too many time so that it forced me to write a review it this time. I have been to so many other subways that actually serves what is marketed....
Read moreNever had a chance to try the food. Stood there looking at menu while the girl who was supposed to be working talked to some slacker dude about iPhones and which iPhone was cooler. Then my wife and I moved to the "order end" of counter and the iPhone conversation continued. So we walked away. Went to Burger King. And at that moment the girl threw her hands up as if we did something wrong. We will be calling the manager tomorrow and telling him/her. Just another classic example of the incompetence of today's young...
