McDonald's — Restaurant in Port Alberni

When I was in Port Alberni with no place to go as I didnt exactly know where I was as I got left in Port Alberni, I hung out inside McDonald's for the day.. staff noticed me, but never said anything, until later in the evening when the night time manager or supervisor named Jordan came up to me to ask me if I was okay and mentioned his employees told him I've been there for several hours (over 8 hrs to be exact) and I told him my situation and he was nice enough to let me sit inside after the dining area was closed and wait until my ride could pick me up later that night.

I am sooo thankful for him and making sure I stayed safe and warm until my ride could get to me (which is someone that drove from other end of the Island to get me after they worked all day).

The night shift crew at McDonald’s on Redford needs better customer service. I order a meal with 2 drinks, i got to the window and payed and when I was handed the food, part of my order was missing. I told her kindly that I ordered the meal and she ignored me and called her manager over saying how I didn’t order the meal and scoffed me away saying she didn’t do anything wrong. I asked if I was able to get the rest of my order and to pay for it as if it was apart of the meal but she said no that I had to pay full price as is it was my mistake and there was nothing she could do about it. Went there with 3 guys after a fishing trip when we arrived they took 10 minutes to take our order. The staff were friendly but out of our 3 orders they messed up 2 of them. Forgetting the right size of fries/drinks and forgetting to put 2 burger patties on items that were ordered as doubles and boxed as doubles but still only got 1 paddy. The food quality was the same as any other McDonald’s. They look to be under staffed and there were some drug addicts hanging around in the store. I feel bad for the lady at the front scrambling...
