Country Kitchen Restaurant‎ — Restaurant in Port Hastings

The Country Kitchen Restaraunt is a beautiful restaraunt that offers great customer service and delicious food; due to covid-19, they take your temperature upon arrival, as well as your contact information so they can contact you relating to covid-19 if need be. My partner and I conincidentally have the same birthday, so it has become a tradition to dine here on our birthday every year since they offer a free meal on your birthday; all they ask is to see your ID to confirm. I usually order a pasta dish (which I order without meat so it's plant-based), and my partners order differs from time to time. It's quite unfortunate that they don't have very much variety in Plant-based menu items; it would be great if they could offer a veggie burger, or a tofu veggie stir-fry. Overall I would recommend this restaraunt, due to the great service and delicious food!

Food wasn't anything to write home about. It was edible, but not necessarily delicious. Half our party got their drinks and food, while the other half had nothing. Some of the eggs had shells cooked into them, some of the hash browns weren't cooked all the way through, and in general would of benefited from being cooked longer. I went for breakfast with a few friends. We all had breakfast . They had the most amazing breakfast deal and the servers were so friendly and caring .There pancakes we're amazing perfectly cooked and thick . Hash browns very good as well.
