Food looked good but I’m not a fan and I was there with a 50+ group of people. The red hair waitress was sweet and tried to accommodate surprisingly the manager (a guy in a baseball cap) told her no. What kind of service is that? Specially from 1 request from a 50+ group. I decided to eat next door just because how he handled things.
After reading the restaurant response:
My review stays the same. My rating is because of how the manager handled his response which was dismissive and a lack of respect for the customer.
At no point did I try to bring food from another place into the establishment. I was there as part of large group and unfortunately I don’t eat Greek food. I communicated to the server to see if there was something else that could be prepared or if not then check if I could order from a nearby place and eat with the group.
The manager didn’t even bother to listen to the server and waved his hand away while I was present. I understood that he didn’t care about accommodating only 1 request so that’s why I went and had dinner at the next door restaurant and returned to seat with the group.

The service was amazing. Phil knows his stuff, is fluently bilingual, is charismatic and a joy to be around!
The décor is OK. It is comfy and low key — nothing fancy, but hey! You go there for the food, right?

Read moreA Greek place with a great authentic taste. I had the Spivey chicken gyro and it was delicious, and not super spicy. It had tons of sauce on it which is a big plus for me. My wife had a regular gyro and also enjoyed it but struggled to hold it so she ate it with a knife and fork.
The village salad had nice large chunks of veg and was lightly dressed. I could have gone for more feta but I like cheese almost as much as sauce.
We got the platters but I could not eat most of the rice and potatoes because the portions were generous.
The space was clean and convenient with a nice breeze on a very hot day. The staff were very pleasant...
