Reasonable pizza. We ordered 2 orders of wings and 2 mediums delivered to otway and Tabor. With tip 113.00 I don't mind spending 100 on a meal; however, at these prices I'd entertain going out for lunch or dinner and sit at a waited table. I understand rising costs. I am just wondering does the phrase 2 for 1 still apply? If so what's the pricing structure. The idea of 2 for 1 from an economics perspective is to maximize and utilize consumer surplus and supplier surplus. The pricing strategy is a little unclear. Again, I don't mind spending 100 plus on a meal but this does seem a tad excessive. I love this resto and prefer it to Panago or Pizza 73 but the pricing model should reflect a premium pricing strategy but not so exorbitant that the future consideration is to eat out rather than eat in. Perhaps the menu should be altered so it is no longer for one or shows 2 for 1 pricing model. McDonald's and Starbucks has demonstrated increased pricing strategy south of the border and are finding consumption down. Its a delicate balance of pricing. I'll continue to order but be mindful of asking for pricing strategy prior to...
Read moreThe pizza is pretty good. Pizza is an individual preference thing, but overall the quality is great. Toppings quantity I give a 6/10 as I had to hunt for pineapple on the Hawaiian, crust is a 7/10 a little soggy in the centre when I got it home but the crust nice and crunchy.
I ordered for "take out" and got a condescending remark from the young man on the phone that they "don't call it takeout around here we call it pick up, so would I like pick up or delivery?" Like he couldn't figure out that out of the two I did not want delivery?? If that's what they tell their employees to say on the phone that's pretty awful. Never make your customer feel like an idiot.
I'd give the entire review a 3.5 if it wasn't for the awful experience on the phone. I almost decided to cancel during my call because of the comments from the guy on the phone, but the location was really convenient for where I was going in town at the time, and I live out...
Read moreTabor 2 for 1 isn't cheap with the toppings , and are speedy with their delivery. The last 2 times we have ordered, the pizzas have arrived in less than 25 minutes. That being said, we do live closer than 5 minutes away from them, but the pizza has been somewhat soggy and the crust felt undercooked. Today we ordered the Greek pizza which was....odd to say the least. It was delivered with thick sliced tomato covering the pizza. As in, sliced sandwich style, not diced. Perhaps for artistic value but it does not lend the pizza any kind of quality that a person would desire from a pizza. I've attached a picture to demonstrate what I'm describing. When a pizza arrives this way, it kind of leads people to debate how to deal with that tomato. Its a weird configuration that does nothing for the flavor of the pizza. Please save tomato slices...
