It was our first time visiting Prince Rupert and we were recommended bobs by the gentleman at the tourist site. We ordered the three piece halibut and fries and shared it between myself, my husband and our four year old. When I tell you it was fresh, I mean it was FRESH! You can watch the men unload the fish into the coolers as they are frying your fish up. The halibut was so meaty and juicy and cooked to perfection the batter was crispy but not to thick or thin, and the fries were delicious too. The tartar sauce I’m assuming was homemade as it didn’t taste like a store bought one but either way it was delicious. We paid $40 for the meal and was it a little steep; sure but no more then what you would pay on the lower mainland and honestly it was probably the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend and would be back. I would love to try the lingcod next time as it was sold out this time around but that itself is a...

I took an Alaskan cruise from San Francisco and our last port was Prince Rupert. My wife found a video of a guy showing what was around Prince Rupert and he showed Bob's on the Rocks. After seeing that video, we new we were going to eat their. I had the halibut fish and chips it it was delicious! My wife had chicken strips since she does not eat fish and she loved it too. They provide a lot chips and you will leave feeling full. If you are taking a cruise to Alaska, and get a chance to stop in Prince Rupert, take the 10 to 15 minute walk to Bob's on the Rocks to support a great...

Very disappointed in this site it's a real tourist trap, don't believe the reviews the fries were awful frozen type. The Halibut was dry and the slaw had a weird taste. In comparison Dolly's was the best fish and chips. Ordered a coffee it was the bottom of the pot. Returned it and they said they would make a fresh pot. 15 minutes later we left. No a great experience I guess you can believe the reviews. So sad that the owner would respond as he did. It was underwhelming. he thought my review of Mcdonald's was higher it because their service, food and coffee merited the rating. My...

Some of the freshest halibut fish and chips I have ever tasted, and I love the taste of their fries, they have a tasty seasoning. You can pay extra and get poutine upgrade too on the side instead. Portions of fish aren't crazy big but still super satisfying, very fresh fish, nicely battered. Dolly's and Bob's are similar but would choose Bob's for fish and chips, and Dolly's for crab. In my opinion Bob's does a much nicer fish and chip than Dolly's. My favourite fish and chips spot in PR by far! Thank you Bob's. I make an effort to come pay homage here every time I am in PR. In Bob's we trust 🐟🍟🤩
