Café Morgane — Restaurant in Quebec

I have been supporting this cafe for the last 4 years as it is in my neighbourhood. However, I cannot get passed the rude cold service received every single time. I almost regret every tip I leave.

This morning, I very kindly told the blonde lady with the glasses who’s often there in the morning that my matcha didn’t taste the same as usual and was just mostly milk, I truly felt bad to return the drink. Her response and tone was beyond sour and rude. She remade the drink and simply ignored any suggestion I made. Btw the drink she remade looked WAY different than the first one even though she claims it wouldn’t be different. The least she could’ve done was apologize and remake the drink kindly instead of huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes the entire time.

I believe the staff needs to revisit proper customer service training especially in a client facing job or if she truly hates customer service she should simply change professions.

As a person from Montreal who is used to the real cafés and barista service this is bottom tier service. I will no longer be supporting...

J'aime beaucoup l'endroit! J'y vais même de façon régulière pour venir faire mes études et me relaxer autour d'un bon chocolat chaud. L'ambiance est calme et la musique y est douce, parfait pour étudier. C'est également très beau à l'intérieur.

Le personnel est accueillant et souriant, ils connaissent leur produits et savent très bien comment les faire.

J'apprécie énormément le fait que le restaurant ferme tard, cela nous permet d'avancer nos devoirs en prenant notre temps en sirotant une de leur délicieuses boissons sans se soucier du temps qui avance.

Ils offrent le Wi-Fi gratuitement avec un achat pour une durée indéterminée, avant c'était deux heures seulement. Belle amélioration de ce côté!

Seul petit bémol est sans doute que c'est un peu cher. Je suis souvent forcé de prendre leur plus petite portion, sinon la facture monte vite.
