Zeitoun Cuisine Libanaise — Restaurant in Quebec

This place pretends to serve lebanese dishes, but in fact doesn't know one thing about lebanese food! Everything is smothered with 'za'atar, (thyme) that is killing the flavor and in matter of fact in lebanese food we don't use za'atar that much! I odered the shish taouk sandwich they call it zeitoun sawndich and it was disgusting didn't even finish my 2nd bite, my wife ordered zeitoun poutine, the same we got fries with cheese curds and a za'atar sauce which was disgusting! We wasted 34$ for the 2 dishes and ended up throwing them in the garbage ! All of this and i still didn't mention how rude was the person in the kitchen and the cashier/ waitress was clueless about her job! Worst restaurant ever if i could put zero stars i would even better if we can go...

Got a shishtaouk wrap. They have no shishtaouk plates. It was ok. Subpar service, everyone looked stressed out. The worst, a sharp bone in my wrap, I'm glad it wasn't a kid who got that one. Really nice cozy place on the second floor overlooking other shops

I couldn't read the French menu and wasn't very familiar with Lebanese food so one of the servers took the time to explain all the menu items and give her recommendations
