Goodys Pizzeria Bayside — Restaurant in Quinte West

disclaimer - this is an honest review of my personal experience I had with this place of business.

Ordered A LOT of food and it didn't seem to bother them at all the motivation & attitude of the employees seemed un bothered and willing to take my order and ask specifically what I wanted as sides & condiments.

order was: 3lb wings, x2 - 2 for 1 1/4 Bacon cheeseburgers x2 - bacon cheese burger combos with pop (onion rings & fries, 2 burgers with no tomatoes 2 other burgers with no hot peppers) a Greek salad (small)

lets start with the wings. you'd swear these puppies came from the leg of the chicken and not the wings.. they're gigantic! Not only that but delicious :). medium sauce was well.. medium not too hot but just right.

the Bacon cheeseburgers were good, they went cold quite quick but they were server hot! Nothing too fancy about the burgers and that's what it should be :). delicious, not too much of anything.

the Greek salad was SO extra! didn't expect a small to be as large as it was but it was very delicious! it seems to have quite a bit of iceberg lettuce as a filler but none the less i don't think it took away from the salad itself. lots of feta, sauce, olives etc. they don't skimp out.

the bacon cheeseburger combos were also great same burgers as the 2 for 1 but with sides! The onion rings were crispy and the fries weren't under or over salted, they also aren't soggy! yay!

the total came to just under $90, it came with complimentary garlic bread and the lady that had made and handed us our food wish us happy holidays and a Merry Christmas.

as first timers I give this 4.5 stars! a weird spot to get to as its right off highway 2 but none the less quality food from them! Thanks...

People were not wearing masks in the kitchen. There did not seem to be a whole lot of concern for safety, Covid-19 wise.

This is the same excuse I was told in store when asking about the lack of protection. This response from the owner is very weak, based on what I've seen in just a few short minutes.

I also have a health condition, yet I'm still required to wear a mask at work. To be honest, you would think that if an employee have health conditions, they would be more inclined to wear a mask, given that if they were to get the virus, it would most certainly spell doom. So it doesn't make a whole lot of sense not to wear one, just to drastically increase your chances of infection, in order to protect yourself from current health conditions.

Also, I would like to note that multiple employees were not wearing a mask or had them on wrong, or not all the way. So basically, almost the entirety of the kitchen have health conditions?

Not to mention that cash is being handled in store, without the clerk using hand sanitizer or washing their hands afterwards, just to immediately go and make salads.

When I say lack of concern for safety, that's what I mean. Maybe I should have elaborated more the first time around. All in all, if you are high risk, or looking to stay Covid Clear, I would not recommend this place, until measures are...

Okay, so first time ordering from here (we ordered itntonight) and I live in trenton. When I called to place it the girl who answered the phone was very friendly and very helpful. She answered any questions I had even when I did accidentally interrupt her she was extremely professional about it. She was able to give a total over the phone (alot of places don't anymore). To feed 4 people it was just around $60.00. Now I called probably 25 minutes before my food arrived.( I didn't even get to finish my episode on tv before I had to have plates ready ) Our food came, and honestly I can say I've never been happier with the food. My wife who is the pickiest eater I know loved it, and said she will continue to eat here and now wants it for lunch tomorrow (unfortunately they're closed) but it's saying alot that she wants to eat here again.
