Restaurant The Privilege — Restaurant in Rawdon

Went here during a snow storm. Waitress was very nice. Wasn't busy at all, but she was still attentive. Very quiet atmosphere...really bright... lighting could be made a bit more intimate. Food was a mixed bag. Apps were good. The foie Gras and the brie croquettes were both flavorful. Mains... mixed bag. My girl got the bavette with the redwine sauce. She really liked it. Fries were good. The seasonal veggies are frozen from a bag. I didn't love my filet mignon surf n turf. Steak was just okay. The shrimp weren't good... and pepper sauce was just okay... over all decent. But my gf raved about the bavette...

Food was ok, portions were small. Service was slow considering the place was almost empty when we went. Waitress seemed to forget about us and when she did remember us, she walked so hard we could hear her coming a mile away. Bathroom set up was weird, toilets were private but sink and mirrors were set up in a common space so fixing your make up etc with everyone in the whole back of restaurant looking at you, was just awkward...overall...

What a disappointment!!! Out of 3 steaks 3 were completely over cooked and absolutely dried.(asked for 1 medium rare and 2 medium). Mentioned it to the waitress and she requested the cheff to redo it... After 20 minutes come out barely less overcooked. Extremely disappointed, paying 60$ per plate and based on previous reviews, was expecting better. I'm not hard to please but this left a very bitter...
