A&W Canada — Restaurant in Renfrew

Busy Easter Saturday morning, zero customers in drive thru. Tim hortons and mcdonalds drive thru over flowing with cars.

Cashier didn't welcome, or acknowledge that we pulled up. After 3 minutes, we asked once if anyone was there. Curt answer of, just a minute. Waited another 5 minutes, when asked again in someone was there, cashier took our order. Waited another 5 minutes at the window, the restaurant didn't have thawed English muffins or biscuits for breakfast. We were offered hamburger buns. Cancelled one order.

Quality of food is superior to other restaurant chains. It's too bad that restaurant management isn't able to staff properly, or prepare the restaurant for regular business hours. This isn't the workers fault, this is strictly management and ownership issues.

Customer behind us left because no one took her order, after waiting at the speaker for 5 minutes.

Total time to collect 2 coffees, 1 chicken breakfast sandwich and a hashbrown, was 25 minutes.

When asked to speak to the manager on duty, the worker said there was no manager working today. When asked for a coupon, nothing. When asked to have the owners business...

Ordered 1 decaf coffee, 2 creams, 1 sweet potato fries, and a teen burger combo with black coffee. Was handed 2 coffees, one REGULAR coffee, 2 creams, one double double, the teen burger and fries, but no sweet potato fries. Mentioned the black coffee wasn't black. Told it would take 3 min for a new pot now. Confirmed second coffee was decaf, they don't make decaf, just substituted regular. Instead of giving our money back, my mother had to chose a different drink. Got lemonade she ended up not liking. After waiting 5 minutes for the sweet potato fries, we asked again. They forgot. Could we wait while they made more? No. Want our money back. The manager(?) said the sweet potato fries were never paid for. My mother ended up with no food or drink, but paid for the lemonade she didn't drink. The staff was clueless with other orders as well while we were there. Two stars only because they got a small fraction of the order right....

The service was terrible. There was only one other customer in the restaurant who was already eating. The female clerk took our order and money and then left the front counter and never returned until our order was ready. I waited at the counter for over 5 minutes because I wanted to inquiry more about their mixed berry smoothies because, through the A & W promotion with the Blue Jays, it was BOGO. There was no price nor calorie counter on their menu board. I got tired of waiting and went to our vehicle and left my husband to wait. When we had placed our order, we told the clerk that it was to go. When the order was ready, the clerk had put it on a dine in tray, which was wrong. Also, my order for a crispy chicken burger was wrong. They had given my husband a Nashville burger. So he had to wait longer for them to prepare the correct one. We were very disappointed with...
