Rarely review fast food places however, big shout out to this A & W!

We we're quite hungry after some hiking and needed something to keep up going 'till home. We stopped at A&W and I was quite amazed at the service. The man working in the drive-thru was very polite and once we got to the window we asked a simple question and he went on to explain how their menu and pricing works and how to get the best bang for your buck ALL THE TIME! Fast food workers barely give you the time of day usually, but not him! He clearly went above and beyond!

The food was alao very good, fresh and steaming hot!

Now we have a fave when we go hiking...

We just ordered through the drive-thru when a staff member approached us, she came from outside the A&W, maybe she went to her car or threw something away. I think she noticed we were a bit confused. She was a Filipina. Things got more confusing because of a coupon we were trying to use, and suddenly she cursed at us (the shortened Tagalog word “PUTA” (from putang ina) is a strong curse often used when someone is angry, frustrated, or insulting someone. I'm from Maine, but I've been coming up to this area for over 20 years-- and going to A&W is always one of the parts of the trip I'm always most excited for! I have never been disappointed, even if it's busy the service is always pleasant and timely, and the food is always delicious. I don't know a lot of Americans who are going into Canada much, but in those rare occasions, I ALWAYS recommend...
