Bottom line: do yourself a favour, stop at the next one.
This is quite literally the worst McDonald’s I’ve been through for the drive through experience. The McNuggets we got were cold and soggy. The fries were half filled at best, and cold. The cashier, though not rude, was uncaring in her attitude towards helping us out (9 June 21 at approx 1300hrs). She didn’t even acknowledge our request, though she was working on it (getting us some salt for their salt-less fries). This is definitely a McDonalds that needs a visit from corporate to get it back on the right track. To sum it up: get your fast food elsewhere.
Update - 24 July 2025 - still the worst McDonalds in Quebec I think. I haven’t visited them all…. Well, except for the ones that have turned into homeless shelters downtown Ottawa / Toronto… but those aren’t great for other reasons. For this visit - Forgot food, food cold, forgot condiments, when reminded still forgot condiments, and couldn’t understand the person when making the order, and they were rude… lady at the cash was nice though, but...
Read moreWent there last night at 6pm. Got to the drive thru and after ordering, I was asked to wait on the side. After over 10min. 2 staff girls came outside to give me my food. They mixed it up with the order from the car next to me. Went back inside, spoke to the manager who is clearly unexperienced with customer service. He got all defensive and asked me not to yell at him (which I was not!) and then blamed me for accepting my order! He was just very condescending, unprofessional and too busy trying to figure out all the messed up orders piled up. It showed that they were all newbies behind the counter with a stressed out cocky manager!
What is the point to go to a fast food restaurant at dinner time and having to wait on your order because there's no food ready? Why do you get a staff (that clearly needs more training) with an unprofessional manager? Fries were dry and my order was not complete since the girls could not understand a word of english. Read moreI wish I could give no stars. Stopped today and ordered a happy meal, iced coffee and a Mcdouble, a small order. I did so through the app and waited in the designated parking spot. After 15 minutes of waiting, 25 cars passing in the drive thru and dozens coming out from the restaurant, I decided to go ask if the had received my order. The girl tells me, in the most condescending voice, yes we have it, it's coming. As if waiting 15 minutes for an order is absolutely normal... 5 minutes later someone brings out my order. My burger looked like the threw it under a Mac truck and my iced coffee tasted of room temp water. Sadly this isn't the first time, but I've learned my lesson. I'll go a cross to Tim hortons. Appalling place. Don't bother wasting your time...
