Chez Morasse — Restaurant in Rouyn-Noranda

This restaurant has a big reputation and for some people it offers the best poutine, it's a classic and it's been open since the 60's. So I gave it a try many years ago and once in a while I am passing by, sometimes I stop by Here are my cons and pros.

Pros: 1.Many different kinds of poutine!! Amazing combinations. 2.Other option of fast food available ( pizzas, hot dogs, hamburgers ) 3.Staff is always polite Affordable place ( by no means that means they are cheap )

Cons: Bathrooms always dirty for some reason. 2.The sauce and the cheese in my poutine they are never really hot and the cheese is not even melting at all, every time as well. In two occasions I almost ask if they could put my meal in the microwave. 3.They only take cash, not debit or credit. So if you wanted to pay with your bitcoin...

J'avais donné une bonne note à ce resto mais à ma dernière visite la semaine dernière j'ai été très déçu. Nous sommes en région pas à Montréal. Je ne suis pas raciste mais là trop c'est trop. La personne n'a jamais compris ce que je voulais commander. J'ai jamais compris ce que cette personne me disait juste un mot par-ci par- là. Je suis pour aider les immigrants mais quand tu n'es plus capable de te faire servir en français là on a un gros problème. Je ne sais même pas quelle langue parlait cet homme. J'ai fini par changer ma commande et demander un club. Ça il a eu l'air de comprendre mais je vous dis que ça été laborieux de commander même mon club. Il a cédé sa place à une femme pour le prochain client, pas chanceux le monsieur elle ne comprenait pas plus sa commande poutant bien simple. Je fini par recevoir mon club mais c'est quoi qu'il y a dans mon club. On aurait dit au lieu du poulet une boîte de nourriture pour chat. Aucune saveur pas bon goût. Yeurkeeee. J'aurais dû prendre une photo je regrette de ne pas avoir pensé de le faire. Je ne suis pas une personne qui est chialeuse dans les restos parce que je sais c'est quoi ce travaille pour y avoir déjà été serveuse plusieurs années dans mon adolescence et même après avoir été marié. Quelle déception pour moi car j'ai déjà été à plusieurs reprises dans ce resto et j'ai toujours été bien servi et c'était très bon. Maintenant je n'y retournerai plus. Moi et mon conjoint qui a réussi à commander un hot dog vapeur connaît pas ça alors il a tout simplement commandé un hot dog choux moutarde avec poutine et tarte citron. Il reçoit son hot dog pas de choux moutarde ketchup choux connaît pas ça. On a pas ça. J'espère que vous comprendrez pourquoi nous avons...

What happened to this place its was so good before man oh man did i get the bad service there from a young girl attitude galore because i asked for my own tray in a double order she said we dont have enough trays but there was like 4 people in there then the hamburgers was cold the bun not toasted or buttered just plain the poutine was ok but to the young girl man it wasn't much of an ask good thing that the older woman straighten her out sadly i will not be good...
