Boondocks Bistro — Restaurant in Rural Municipality of Reynolds

We were made aware of this place by some Brereton Lake property owners who didn't stop raving about it. Fantastic little spot on the way in/out of the Whiteshell. Small diner atmosphere, personal service and realistic pricing make it great. We took home some biscuits which were so good oven warmed the next day for breakfast and the kids cones won't break the bank. In conversing with the owners, it shows that they care about the food and don't take shortcuts in preparing the food. They also don't have a deep fryer so don't expect to get oil drenched French Fries. We'll be back to try more of the menu. Gave 5 stars due to the service, cost and personal interaction....

Dined in. Meals and coffees and desserts. Very pleased with prices and I have to say we enjoyed our meals but the coffee and the homemade pie was the best I have ever had! We tried the harvest and herb, as well as the eh plus with brocoli salad and it was all SO yummy! The milkshake of the week (salted chocolate caramel) was so delicious.
