I’m not one for negative reviews - but I want to leave this in case it saves someone some trouble in the future. I am newly diagnosed with celiac disease, so I cannot eat gluten or I get sick. I told the employee I had celiac, and I asked if he knew what meat was safe for me to have without gluten, and he said that they recommend the rotisserie style chicken. He was so confident, so I said okay & I ordered that in my rice bowl. Later in the day I started to feel sick, and ended up having super sharp cramps in my stomach later in the day, and then ended up getting the whole dose of celiac contamination symptoms that I won’t go into detail about - for the rest of the week. I trying to think of how I could have gotten sick, and I ended up asking a celiac friend of mine what they order at Subway when they go, and they said that they order pretty much anything BUT the rotisserie chicken because it has wheat in it. So I looked on the Subway allergen information sheet, and come to find out it’s one of the only common meats that I absolutely cannot have. Now I understand it’s my responsibility to know what is gluten free & what is not, but if the employee would have simply said that he didn’t know, I could have then gone online & made a better choice for me. Instead, I got super sick for 7 days until all of my symptoms had gone. Overall, I know everyone makes mistakes & I’m not mad - but this is a really unfortunate mistake to make when it makes someone this sick. Read moreI bought a sub through the App. The App crashed as I placed my order but it still took my money so called to see if they still got my order and it went through the system. They confirmed they did receive my order but when I showed up they said they never received it. I showed them the money came out of my bank account but they refused to make me a sub or refund me my money. The worker called the manager and he said there was nothing he could do even when I showed him my account and the App. I DO NOT recommend purchasing through the app or buying from this Subway location because they don't care about customers.
