Restaurant Bar Le Legendaire — Restaurant in Saguenay

We were a group of 10 persons and arrived at the hotel around 7:30 pm. Given the Covid-19 situation, many restaurants were not accepting reservations and/or they were at full capacity. The kids were hungry, therefore, we decided to try Le Lgendaire. We arrived at 8:40 pm and given that they close at 9 pm, the staff accepted (which was nice of them) to serve us. The service was good but we felt rushed to order the meals. I ordered the soup of the day which was OK and the Ceasars Salad with Chicken which was very disappointing. I was not expecting the chicken to be fried & crispy since the menu did not specifically state it nor the waitress advised me of it. I was asked if I wanted anchovies which I gladly accepted since I like it in my Ceasar salads, however, there was so much of it that it was overwhelmed with salt. We were here on Saturday. And there were a couple things that really surprised me. When I told a restaurant employee that the women's restroom was out of soap. The restaurant staff member Camiel told me to go downstairs and tell the front desk (to a guest who is relaxing here with friends). Really? Did I come to work ?! It's the height of unprofessionalism to say that. And she could have just said, "Okay," and not even done anything. And I wouldn't even know about it. As for the waiter, communication and friendliness is fine. But he brought us cold bread, the restaurant was half-empty. And so now the dishes: my ravioli was overcooked and not hot. I was expecting an outstanding dinner. Food was mediocre at best. Took forever. Plenty of empty tables but they acted like they were doing us a favor since we didn’t have a reservation. Waitress had trouble understanding my selection even though I was pointing it out on the menu. Asked for ketchup for the fries and she brings a couple of those little packets.
