First time experience at the restaurant, was expecting to go for brunch but given lunch menus, when the table who arrived in front of us and seated 1 minute before got the breakfast menu. When I asked about this was told breakfast was over. Placed our order and 10 mins in the previous table were all brought the breakfasts.
When our meals came out, my meal was the wrong dish. They offered to remake it, but by then my friend would have been finished his plate before mine came out, so I just ate what they brought me. I was no offered a discount or anything to compensate for the wrong dish, and was charged extra for a tiny piece of garlic bread.
Overall appetizers, main meal and dessert portions are small and way overpriced. Coffee not included in meal price, 17$ for a half portion of pasta and 30$ for a full plate considering there couldn’t have been more than 4$ of ingredients in my plate is bad, food was mediocre at best plus they charge extra for take out containers for your leftovers.
Diners at the table beside us complained about overpriced small portions, and the area we were seated in by the window was very cold. No baseboard heaters and we both had to wear our winter coats through the meal.
Lunch for 2 which left us both hungry within an hour of the visit for 75$ before the gratuity. I would have had double the food for half the price if I’d eaten anywhere else.
Despite having weekly business in the area, I won’t be returning. It’s a shame, I was actually looking forward to eating there after seeing the breakfast menu. Very disappointed with my...

La Toquade uses real food: real hollandaise, real potatoes for home fries, homemade breads - and they do it fast and really well. Definitely would recommend this place for a very enjoyable breakfast. Great service, food came quick and was expertly prepared. Two thumbs...
Read moreThis place was incredible. I could not believe the quality of the food served. I stopped in at happy hour. I tried the nachos, the oysters, calamari, and the Sangria. The chef is from France, what a difference to eat something that taste the way it's suppose to. Stop in you will not regret it. The prices I found more reasonable compare to other...
