Service: the hostess and waitress were very friendly. They accommodated us despite us having one person in a wheelchair and one baby in a stroller. They even opened the doors for us. Food: The meatballs were salty, but the pizza, fries, and Caesar salad were good. Portions are small and menu items are pricey. I was impressed that when we asked to share all our items among the 3 of us, they evenly divided the 2 medium (largest size) pizzas BUT I was VERY TURNED OFF by the 4$ SHARING FEE when I got the bill. This alone makes me not want to return.

The pizzas? Wood-fired heaven with just the right amount of char and melt. The salads? Crisp, fresh, and full of flavour — not your average leafy afterthought. And Joey? This guy is the MVP of hospitality. Attentive, charming, fast without rushing you — pure 10/5 service. He made the whole night feel like a private event. If you're hungry and want to feel taken care of, this is the place. Food’s fire, Joey’s a legend, and you’ll leave happy and full.

Not a fan of the food in this place. This was the dryest burger I ever had - and an expensive one at that. It wasn't just dry - it also lacked taste and seasoning The Pizza my friend ordered looked and tasted no much better than what Como serves - except here it was over twice the price. It does look like an interesting place to have a drink after work but I certainly won't return for the food.

I'm done with this place. Been living in St Bruno for 20 years now and every single time we order here the quality gets worse.

Lets not speak about service because we never dine in due to previous horrible customer experiences.

Lets speak about the only thing this place has or should i say HAD going for them: quality.

The pizza here used to be uncomparable to the rest of the joints around St Bruno. Year over year the quality goes down and the excuses are more creative. A couple months back we ordered over $100 worth of pizza = approx. 3 pizzas at Restaurant St Bruno. We received what was evidently frozen and reheated pizzas. We spoke with Maria who was very hard to deal with and eventually she broke down and told us that they were trying different suppliers, did not have the right chefs, etc... and eventually had 3 fresh pizzas sent to us free of charge. (These were the days when they would attempt to right their wrongs given you pushed hard enough)

Today i ordered a large Special St Bruno. Back in the day, one slice would fill you up since it was 2 inches thick, stuffed with meat sauce, pepperoni, ham and cheese. Today, THIS IS WHAT I GOT * see picture below *

When i called back to explain what i had received the receptionist did not seem surprised. She asked me: what would you like? A new pie? A rebate? A refund? I said how about a refund? She said she needed to speak with her boss...

She came back to the phone and said my boss is not very comprehensive of the situation. He says: IF YOU WANT YOUR REFUND WELL COME AND GET IT.

I said really? You want the pizza back and I HAVE TO DRIVE BACK?? She said yes and appologized. She repeated again that her boss is "like that" he gets "kind of crazy".

This was the nail in the coffin for me.

This is the first time that i write such a long review so please take this as a warning.

This restaurant values nothing but your money even if the opportunity cost is their reputation.

They once kicked out a young couple and their baby because they had a baby stroller that was "in the way" of the waiter... How crazy is that?

There are many other better options than the overpriced junk they serve now, for half the price. Restaurant St Bruno should not have been rebuilt as it is a thing...

I went with a group of four from my office for a birthday lunch, and here's what our combined experience was like.

Service: Very slow, even though the restaurant was only about 1/3 filled on a Wednesday afternoon. Polite and bilingual Didn't notice that half the awning somehow got retracted, leaving us to bake in the sun for a few minutes on the patio. Put food scraps from the table on my colleague's plate when clearing the table, AFTER my colleague asked to have the leftovers to go. Gross!

Food: Pizza was tasty (The St Bruno special was, at least, that's what I had) but toppings didn't stick to the crust very well at all. Picking up a slice of pizza had a 50/50 chance of all the toppings falling off in your plate before you took a bite. The duck was a bit overdone for my colleague, and seemed dry. The salad was one of those annoying DIY salads, where you get a mound of lettuce, then all the tomatoes, chicken, olives, etc... are stacked around the lettuce, making you literally toss your own salad at the table. The escargot stood out as the best dish we had. Well seasoned, and no complaints. The meatballs were also quite good, being a generous size with plenty of sauce.

All in all, I won't be going back. This was my second time here, and it was an equivalent experience the first time. The patio view on the street is nice, the people are friendly, but a work lunch will be easily 90 minutes here, and don't count on...

today was our last visit at this place. Got a bill of around 200$ for 4 people with a bottle of wine.

We did wait 2 hours to get served. The waitress was kind and feeling really embarrassed. She told us that she would ask her manager if she could do something. She did nothing, I mean the manager. Some clients even left the place after waiting for 2 hours and complaining because they didn't even got their starters. Funny thing, they didn't even pay and it took a good 10 minutes for the staff to realize the situation.

Many clients were insulted.

When you don't have enough staff. You have to warn customers when they enter. Also, for the ones that are stuck to wait, the minimum from the management is to come and apologize.

This place is not managed by someone who understands this business and they have lost, a least, us as clients. Also, they have won a bad report on Google.

If I would have to bet, if they do not change the management, they will close within 6 months.

They have scrapped our family Friday night after a long work week. We were please to go their and they have scrapped our night and their...
