Pizza Salvatoré — Restaurant in Saint-Hyacinthe

I eat out a lot. And I appreciate and value a good quality tasty food for a good price. But I did not experience this at this place. What I witnessed, was a 12 inch pizza made of 2 inch thick crust maybe even 3 inch. Because we all know that nobody really puts a 12 inch pizza in a 12 inch box. They put 11 inch pizza in a 12 inch box. And Collett a 12 inch. With the crust? There was so much crust. You’re literally paying for crust. The actual toppings are you probably only get, it’s about 9 inches.

So I wasn’t going to fall for that trap. So I looked at the value of the prices on their proteins. And according to their menu, a small undisclosed size small poutine was $9.99. And a medium was $12.99. And a large Grande of 8 inches was $19.99. I just couldn’t see the value of spending seven dollars more for 1 inch. Considering that for $10 versus $13 with a difference of three dollars. With the price difference between a small and medium. So I decided to go with a medium. Only to find out that they did not charge me $12.99. They charge me $13.99. I showed the discrepancy to the lady. She seem to not really care. She didn’t even offer an even one dollar refund. I tried the poutine. And it was disgusting. Plain Jane I don’t know what pre-cooked french fries, that they called taters. Because taters or well, quite frankly, taters. French fries or large, cut hashbrowns is more along the lines of what these were. Drizzled with some see Budjet powder-based watery gravy. They didn’t have any real flavor. Let alone do the potatoes. They weren’t even season. They weren’t even crispy. but, it was these so-called sausages or hotdogs at the use. These were just generic no-name hotdogs that they use. I figured they would usually actually use some seasoned sausages at the very minimum. No. They were just plain Jane no-name hotdogs.

$16 for a four dollar poutine.

I don’t normally leave these kind of reviews. But I was actually so disgusted by my experience, that I actually took one bite. And walked right back in. And handed it back to them. And asked for the money back. That’s how disappointed I was. After a long day at work. Sitting & waiting 15 minutes just to get an order. While not sitting. Standing. It’s Delta boots. After work. I think I’ll just go to a Circle K go get a $1.00...

I've been ordering at pizza Salvatore for the past 3 years I've never had any issues except for one time that I ordered a poutine and they had hotdog in my poutine but we don't eat pork so I called customer service and it was taken care of.

Today November 23rd I've placed an order and while waiting I decided to start looking for my wallet which I can't find... so I called customer service to let them know to cancel my order as I won't be able to pay since I don't find my wallet.

I spoke to one of the representative and he transferred me to the store and I honestly don't know if the person who answered me was on drugs but that's how the conversation went:" I don't care you don't have the money you ordered so you are going to pay. You don't order and canceled...if you don't pay I'm gonna black listed your address and you won't ever be able to order here ever again" as she was screaming she was on speaker my 5 years old daughter asked me if i was ok because of the way the lady was screaming.. I was so in shocked I decided to hung up.

Mine you in 3 years of ordering at Salvatore either pick up or delivery. Or if we are using my account or my husband account something like that never...

October: Food quality has greatly decreased very rapidly over the last few weeks. Received my last poutine cold, cheese never melted, and i had them use shredded cheese instead of cheese curds. Fries were also very old.

Very shady with money as well. Delivery driver tried to say tips werent included in the price when its on the receipt last time, and didnt bring change for an order marked as paying cash forcing me to pay $5.10 in tips.

Deliveries take well over an hour despite their 1 hour promises. Sometimes 2 hours.

December: Still no improvement. received 2 cold pizzas that were on the road over half an hour.

It's infuriating to see a 2.5 star rating on this listing. That is WAY too high.
