Cafe Bistro OK — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli

We were there in a Friday and were quite impressed with the view but not the service or food. Perhaps we came on a busy day maybe however overall we were not impressed.We ordered vegetarian pasta, pizza and nachos. It took 50 minutes to have our nachos served (which we ordered as an appetizer, and they were burned and poorly layered), then another 20 minutes later the pizza came and the pasta. The pasta had meat while I ordered the vegetarian so there was a mix up. The server was quite apologetic about the pasta mix up however we were already hungry and frustrated by that point so I didn't want to order another dish for the fear that it would take another 40 minutes before it came out. Even though I declined to order another dish the server brought out the veggie pasta after all even though I mentioned that we just wanted the bill. We took the veggie pasta to go. Highly disappointing evening overall with no compensation attempted to make up for the crap experience and the extra pasta that we felt was made extra just to increase the bill total. Would recommend this place only if you're not picky and VERY easy going about your dining experience. We were on a 7 day vacation so every meal we wanted to be a great one and this wasn't one of them...

We loved this restaurant during our roadtrip to NB. We arrived in the morning for a rest stop and visited the nearby lighthouse and pirate ship before sitting down on their patio.

The lunch menu starts a little late, not before noon, but the breakfast food was so good. How could I be disappointed when their hollandaise sauce tastes that good?? My husband and I were also impressed with their tasty and unique cocktails. Very fun.

The service was pleasant, polite and accomodating. The view of the water and boats was amazing. Our dog was not allowed on the patio, but we were seated on the edge where we could attach him nearby, and keep him nice and cool in the shade. Very much enjoyed our...

Quand moi et ma copine sommes arrivés au restaurant. Nous nous sommes fait dire qu'il y avait une attente de 1h pour notre repas principal, sans problème , la serveuse nous a mentionné que nous pouvions prendre un verre et une entrée en attendant...

20 minutes plus tard, aucune serveuse , rien ,même pas un verre d'eau !

Finalement , après avoir commandé, l'eau est arrivé ..

Par contre , lors de notre choix d'entrée il ne restait plus la moitié des entrées ( ce qui devrait être mentionné au départ !!!!! ).Aussi, je mentionne à la serveuse que je ne peux manger épicé ... elle me propose une entrée de dumplings épicés ... Puis dans mon club sandwich je demande la sauce mayonnaise normale autre que la sauce épicée originale et elle me répond que ce n'est pas possible... Elle me dit que ce n'est pas épicée et qu'elle-même le mange sans problème malgré la sauce... Un manque flagrant de bon service à la clientèle. Si vous êtes pour obliger le client à manger seulement que vos recettes originales, arrangez-vous pour avoir TOUS LES PLATS DISPONIBLES SVP !!! Ou changer tout simplement votre manière, plus que médiocre, de gérer.

Finalement , je demande la facture avant d'avoir resu le plat principal car je sens que la suite sera encore plus horrible .. la serveuse semble hésiter de me dire d'accord, surement omnibulée par le fait qu'elle fera moins de pourboire. ( J'ai tout de même laissé 15% lors de mon paiment).

40$ !!! avec le pourboire. WOW du beau vol ! Pour une entrée de dumplings qui semblaient avoir passé la nuit par terre... 2 bières ( ma copine avait pris une bière noire et moi une blonde , mais la serveuse nous a amené 2 bières blondes hihi encore une preuve de leur manque de professionalisme flagrant)... et un pichet d'eau CHAUDE!

Tout simplement une honte au monde de la restauration. Quand tu charges cher de même, tu donnes un service parfait sinon , TU TE PRENDS POUR QUI ?

Je donne 2 étoiles, pour la vue incroyable ... Possible d'être admirée du bar Ras L'bock , juste en haut du bistro OK, endroit très mignon et pas trop cher pour la qualité.

N'ALLEZ PAS AU BISTRO...
