Blue Olive Restaurant — Restaurant in Saint John

The store is super aesthetic and modern, the food is healthy and delicious. We got unlucky with the service, however. We ordered at 10:50 AM, she told us that lunch isn’t available until 11 AM after one of us had already ordered and she took the lunch order without saying anything, then made us feel guilty about it. Every time we ordered food, she gave off this vibe that it was such an inconvenience for her. The 3rd member of the group asked for lunch as well since the 1st person already was getting a lunch item and it was basically 11 AM at this time. She told us she won’t have enough for lunch if she gave us another sandwich. So basically, the person ordering next has money that’s worth more than ours?? She also asked us to change our drink order to make it “easier” since there was someone waiting behind us. She seems like a genuinely nice person, but she was definitely having a bad day and did a horrible job making us feel welcomed and valued as customers. We are on vacation right now and that experience really started our day off on a negative note. Highly recommend if she’s in a better mood or if you get one one of the other staff members. The other staff in there seemed very friendly...

The smoothly tested horrible like chemicals and should have received a refund. The peanut could not not real peanut butter, it was definitely powered. Rice is as not good in the poke bowl. Also we were in line and other people came up and they took there ordered before ours....

Delicious sandwiches. Some good toasted and others good cold. Natural lighting, would go again. Better option...
