I say excuse me 4 times and the guy is really annoyed to even look at me since apparently I'm not french. I asked him if this location had the sandwich I like and he pretended to not speak English. Not only did he refuse to serve me but then he ignored me and wouldn't bother to get someone else to assist me with translating. I understand that french is the preferred language around here but I should still be able to be served in English. I don't need to learn a 3rd language to order food in Canada. The level of disrespect was astounding. I decided to just use the washroom and find somewhere else to eat. On my way out I hear the guy speaking perfect English with the next guy in line. The restaurant itself was rather crowded, yet the employees were taking their time and moving slowly as if it were dead in there. I'm typically incredibly understanding of wait times in food service (I work in it myself), but it's difficult to keep that patience when it doesn't seem like anyone behind the counter is trying.
