Café O'Marguerites — Restaurant in Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson

Unfortunately we were told all amazing things about the new location for this place but maybe 10 people came and left with their food before we got our food and then they forgot to add any of the actual things that came with the sandwich (so we basically got croissant with spinach on it). Then they fixed it but the eggs and bacon were dry. We tried to cancel the order because it took so long but they said it had already been prepared and it was too late to cancel but yet we had to wait another 10 min for the food to arrive, so we are not sure how it is possible that the food has already been prepared. And they didn’t even apologize. Hopefully they can fix this because the space seems nice. We had once gone to their old location across the street and it was much better service and quality. Oh and the grilled cheese for our 2 year old was basically dry bread that hardly had any cheese and was thrown in a microwave to melt. It was terrible. Charming and vibrant Cafe cum organic food store on route 138 west between Val David and Rawdon . Located in Stopped by for a Pizza . Pizza was just barely ok. Smaller than we expected at 19 Dollar plus . No sauces , chilli flakes etc served. The Pizza was handed over in a take away box perhaps on a misunderstanding that we wanted take away . But we were not asked if we were going to eat there or take away . The owner did apologize later but we had already eaten out of the box by then. While it was a cafe , Payment for Pizza was taken while ordering . One thing we did not like was a prompt to add tip while ordering even before any service has been rendered. Highly irregular as a practice . We ended up adding 18 % out of habit. The cafe...

Oh my god that smash burger... I take burger junkies here to try it out. Sort of polarizing due to the grease ratio but it is 11 / 10 for me. My favorite burger in Quebec for sure. Worth the drive, or the visit if you live here and somehow missed this gem. Community and co-op atmosphere are great. I make sure to buy some stuff each time. The local foods are really wonderful. Staff are friendly and helpful. It gets busy sometimes so be careful if you are impatient.
