Stratos Pizzeria — Restaurant in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac

It was a late evening. My girlfriend and I were looking for something to lift my spirit since I felt a lot of stress. So she called Stratos Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac to order one large poutine, a meal I distinctly adore. A sweet and gentle voice answered and took the order hastily and with ease. To my girlfriend and I’s content, we arrived and the order was ready. While paying, the cashier was very nice to my partner. She asked if she had a good day with a smile on her face, something that has become so rare in this society nowadays. The cashiers way of welcoming the clients felt fresh and familiar. After paying for the meal, we headed back to our place of residence to enjoy the culinary experience. Now, when it comes to food, it is important to know that I am very difficult. If a smudge of imperfection exists within the ingredients, I WILL taste it. So when I say that the first bite was incredible, I mean it. The taste and the crunchiness of the fries reminded me of a better time, when my life was one of a mere child coming home from school with the smell of a home-made poutine coming straight from the kitchen where my mother waited for me to unveil her magnificent cooking. Then it was the sauce… it flowed through the mouth and stimulated perfectly my taste buds. The satisfying taste of gravy perfectly complemented the fries. Finally, the cheese was also a delight. To be completely honest, there is no place like Stratos Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-lac. It is the place where dreams come true and nightmares vanish. In that restaurant, culinary achievements have gone unnoticed for too long, which is why I am writing this review. I want the world to know about the amazing flavours created in this marvelous kitchen. So, if I had to recommand a restaurant for the rest of my life, it would be this one. We ordered our food at 5:30pm 1 club-poutine, baby poutine and a medium Poutine Malicieuse... arrived at 6:15pm and well the sauce was completely wrong for the Malicieuse poutine so call back at 6:20pm they offered to deliver the sauce for the poutine, still 40 minutes waiting for the sauce and no one showed up, then called back talked to a manager cause well the poutine is cold and it’s a 17$ poutine, the manager offered a free new poutine, which showed up at 7:40pm. The delivery guy was upset because he had to deliver the free poutine. And he walked on our lawn instead of using the driveway.

For the price you pay it’s not worth it!! And if you are going to have people do delivery have them trained to not walk on...

I have to give them a 3.5 stars. My wife and a friend went to oka and on our way back we stopped at this restaurant for a bite. We ordered a small stratos special pizza with onion rings it was good but a bit bland I wish they would use a homemade sauce instead of canned sauce. The all dressed special sub was good and there house sauce was good. The regular poutine was good but it could be better and the Italian poutine was ok the sauce was cold but the cheese on both poutines was amazing and squeaky fresh. The service was our highlight of our visit JADE was an absolute sweetheart her service was amazing she made our experience...
