It's a 4 star, not a 5, not a 3.

In terms of drinks, excellent margaritas, to be honest, one of the best classic margaritas we had.

In terms of food, the El pastor Taco was excellent, with the spicy sauce that was perfectly balanced.

Chimichanga was good, although tasted more like pastry than the actual stuffing. Wouldn't recommend it.

Nachos was good, nice presentation but be aware, it's a cheesy sauce , not actual cheese. Would recommend if the sauce is not a deal breaker.

Waiter was really nice too!

I think the only downside was the feeling that we were in a hurry to eat to let our seat for the next table, even if the restaurant was completely empty. The whole reservation system is a bit much.

Not really a place that allows you to stay for drinks, more like a eat and go.

It's sad because we were ready to spend much more to enjoy our experience but we're urge to order to let our place go. Again, the restaurant was a quarter full.

Would I go each month, no. Would I recommend it? Yes!

Just make sure that you reserve in advance. Even if the restaurant is totally empty, they might not let you have a table (as weird as it sounds).

Go enjoy a margarita! Just book early, and make sure that they receive your booking as booking seems to...

The food was excellent, but there was only 1 waitress for a lot of tables. She brought our food after a while and never came back to inquire how was the food. We had to wait quite a while before i got fed up and accosted her. I had requested a bottle of hot sauce which she never brought, we paid for the complete course, but the waitress seemed to forget that. Although the waitress was nice, the service was awful, it might be better to avoid Saturday night if...

El Sombrero is a gem in downtown, offering a vibrant and authentic Mexican dining experience. The festive decor and lively music create a welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding, from fresh guacamole to rich enchiladas complemented by a great selection of drinks. The service is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant visit. Overall, El Sombrero delivers excellent value and a taste of true Mexican cuisine.
