Gold Medal Restaurant — Restaurant in Salisbury

Pre ordered food for New Year’s Eve and was ready before the chosen time. My wife picked it up so I don’t know how service was but maybe it’s better than their food.

Spent $53 on a “dinner for 3”. The portions are pathetic it was basically 1 and a half dinners anywhere else in town. They gave us two small containers of food and one small tub of rice…. For $53… The egg rolls were as thin as paper. The food was decent but they are definitely gouging people at their prices. We routinely order Chinese food in town and get double the portions, better quality food, for a lot less money.

It’s just really embarrassing for them. Won’t be returning and will be sharing...

Used to be the best Chinese food around....not anymore!! Very disappointed in our meals tonight 😔. Use to love their fluffy chicken fried rice.. now its wet, gooey and sticky.. and absolutely flavorless.. yuck. Paid extra for honey garlic on the side and it wasn't there. chicken balls were not as good either .. too much batter and not cooked through.. Used to be the best beef and broccoli ever... our beef tonight had a rather "fishy"taste .. definitely not the same 😪 $35 for 2 meals and threw 3/4 of each in the garbage. I have eaten here twice now. Once was a couple months ago and I got take out with my sister whom lives in Petitcodiac. Delicious! My second time was yesterday; we made reservations and my whole family dined in. We had the dinner for 5 and added an almond chicken soo guy. Everything was delicious! My parents are picky on egg rolls and they loved them. Both owners came out separately to check on us and thank us. If I had to make a complaint I would say the portions aren't quite as big as some Chinese places especially considering how much it cost, but the quality is more important than the quantity. 9/10 highly recommend and will...
