The first time I went to this establishment was with my son and 4 year old granddaughter Upon entering the place was moderately busy and had a few tables open. Our initial greeting was far from professional. We were motioned to the back with a wave of a hand. Once we figured out where we were to sit, we were greeted by our waitress. If not for this ladies professional and empathetic demeanor my review wouldn't be as good. I had the Prime Rib Beef Dip sandwich with peppers and onions, fries, gravy on side. Great tasting sandwich!! Our other meals were just as good! My son had the Reuben Grill, tasted great! Granddaughter had a hotdog, also great! I was envious of my son's Reuben Grill so....yesterday I ordered take out. Sandwich was delish, lots of tasty meat! I would totally recommend this business. The owner came in towards the end of our visit and he was amazing. With the exception of our initial visit, everyone there is very friendly and good at what they do. One tiny suggestion.....fresh cut fries would compliment your dishes, rather than frozen. Just a thought. Otherwise I have no complaints!! Keep up the good work! I...
Read moreSo I've never been to this place before, it's only because I had banking to do and it was the closest place cause of the bitter cold to go and eat. Boy o boy have I been mising out a great place in my life. At first you see what appears to be a sports bar with the regulars at the bar. We were greeted by Andrea our server and showed to our table. After seating we got our menus and to my shock were the prices I saw in the menu, higher than normal and from here I thought all hope was lost. I ordered the halibut fish and chips and jalapeno soup. These were probally the best things I have eaten all year and I have eaten a lot of fish and chips in Sarnia, thick and when I mean thick it was thick. Also home made tarter sauce to die for. The soup was on point with flavour from begining to end. So in total don't miss out on this hidden gem of a place you won't regret it. I will be...
Read moreAfter being snubbed on entering our 1st choice of restaurant, decided to give Boulevard a try & we were impressed. Very polite owner, John, met us at door & said it'd be a few minutes wait for table, would we like to wait at the bar? Despite being a packed house, bartender & table server were very patient and helpful also. Once seated & taking long time to read extensive menu we decided on Jalapeno Cheddar Cheese soup that was amazing. Followed by main course of Baked Cheese & Bacon Cappelletti for me & 10 oz Ribeye for my friend. Both were presented nicely and tasted even better. Portions were generous giving me leftovers pf pasta for lunch. I tend to have sticker shock at many eateries, especially if the food is not up to par. Have to say, we were pleased in every way with Boulevard. We will certainly be back - over...
